how do you track your rabbit in a winter time now this video may seem a little and insignificant for you hunters out there but keep in mind that it's not everybody that gets lost that's a hunter and then I'm gonna give you a few tips okay because you only think about the rabbit that's the one of the easiest food source to try and get and it's you know it's pretty much found around this planet so let me get that camera I'll be right back with you alright so this is a typical rabbit try it's going that way now few things very simple but you know when you don't know what if you're out here and you're tracking one just looking at it let me change

just looking at it do you think that the rabbit is going that way and you know these are the front paws and the back legs are there and you think it's going that way

well actually it's wrong the rabbit is going that way so the first thing you have to realize is when you see this type of track the rabbit is going where the hind legs are in front now why does this happen well the two back legs of a rabbit or its power okay use it to run and the two little middle paws here okay the two front paws come together to hold this balance as he runs hey I'll just I don't know I hope you guys understand he runs like this clone with this two back paws and it's too small his two front paws go under alright his back legs to hold his balance now you might be following a track like this all right you know what's going that way all of a sudden let me do it for you you're following this all of a sudden it becomes like this again okay that's not the best but anyway opposite of this now say okay which way is he going now if you look a little bit forward of this other track you're gonna see two or three of these and it's not because he changed direction it's just because he stopped and he's just hopping a few a few times but as you keep on looking further at the tracks you'll see it going that way again as he starts running right

alright guys I wanna look a little dumb for you okay just to make you understand a little bit if you didn't this is your back legs with the rabbit and when he uses this to run to push his two front paws go under okay to hold his balance so remember when you're falling a track you follow the two back legs and two back legs have to be in front okay few other tips a rabbit like I said it's probably one of your easiest food source to get and especially in that in the winter you can see the fresh tracks and all rabbits are okay I say it a creature of routine okay lots of times they'll just go a certain you know go into a circle and come back right in their tracks

so if you are tracking one you know take your time make sure it's you're following the tracks and you're going towards the right way and always keep an eye open take your time just keep your eyes open and you know you lift him up he'll start running and his like I said he his habit is he doesn't want to go far so it'll just stir and stop and just follow that way and hopefully you'll get him little tip when I'm hunting rabbits let's say with the shotgun what I do if I'm walking and I see one it starts running I'm going to scream well well at ninety percent of the time he'll stop right in his tracks give me enough time to you know get give my shot so again if you're in that same situation all right maybe you won't have a shotgun maybe you'll have a makeshift bow or rabbit stick throwing stick you start walking and lift one up whoa whoa okay he'll just stop is very curious so anyway I hope this helped you guys thanks for watching
