so while I'm waiting for my coffee to my water to boil when I gather some gathering some of this cedar bark I'll put in this little coin type of thing container or whatever I think it's perfect size or a pole extender this is a great coal extender you're gonna need this and you know wintertime when it's really humid in the air or if your your bird's nest seems to be a little damp this works great that's what I use when it's you know summertime that's really dry you don't need this but actually it's so unit via these summers these two past summers that almost need this all the time but anyway I was out of it and now it's time to gather some more it's almost filled up the feet a little bit more use the spine of my knife obviously then you want to be careful you want a some control I'll keep your legs away and just break down they just gather it stuff it in you're not hurting the tree so what I like to do when I build myself you know what we call a hunter's fire or you try and gather poles when I'm boiling this type of container I try and keep the handles out of the fire and you know push all the wood and the coals in front even though the fire is just against the the front of the container is still gonna boil pretty fast and at the same time I'm gathering some coals in the front because we're going to be cooking something so don't go away all right time to eat cooking a nice piece of steak and our spices today Montreal steak McCormick James if you're watching James sent me this to test out its well I cheat a little bit I've already tried it on some hamburger meat and as usual I am NOT disappointed so you know you guys been following me you know I'm a big fan of Montreal steak spices well this one tastes a little bit like the original one but it's got a kick to it spicy you guys want to smell it first there you go oh yeah I'm pretty sure this is gonna be really good so let's put some on this beautiful piece of meat not too much there

all right that's kind of cool let's see if I can get any closer there you go it's going to make sure it sticks remind my fingers

all right let's cook this bad boy so as usual we'll be doing my favorite and colds save myself some coffee just put there so it stays nice and warm Ryan make up these coals a little bit with myself a nice platform is my makeshift Fork it'll wait a few minutes and turn around all right so harder

go back

wait for it still won't be long all right so you leave it depending on how hot your coals are I left it about two three minutes on both sides I like your medium rare see a little bit of blood coming out there all right let's turn over oh boy that's done boys and girls there ya go one little piece just give you a look before I dig in perfectly cooked for me anyway alright alright so welcome to my messy kitchen or I should say my kitchen table all right I just squared up at the top here let's see how she's doing here
