last test that's my cotton ball float burned yeah there's so much win today so we got a cotton ball burning on fire on the water sorry just pretty good actually I just want to test something else now remember this cotton ball here was it's for extreme conditions all right I mean extreme waterproof conditions cold conditions and I want to test this and I'm going to use Marty's example which is a good example if you I don't know happen to fall a little bit in a river in a lake whatever you don't have much time to go out in the woods and to try and gather tinder that before you're done so having this cotton ball with you close by which is extremely waterproof could save your life now I know we don't usually start a fire in just snow like this it's just a test ok to see what would happen if something like that would happen ok so I i I'm managed to open it up where you could cut it open with your knife ok and we'll just put it in the snow like that now usually let's say I'm here my hands are freezing I'm getting them warmed up you never start anything in the snow even with vaseline or anything from under this will not last long okay so we're just making a test here and plus it's very cold out it's about minus 18 right now so we'll just give it time to burn I'm just gonna let it burn until my time is up I know how much time I got left on the camera but I have enough time right now to warm up my hands okay I know this is not a real survival situation but I'm right on snow guys okay my hands are warm let's say it's been 5 10 minutes 45 minutes two or three whatever now I have time I leave I go out in the woods and get my get my tinder to start building my fire we're directly on snow here I know if you can see it well see as soon as it hits the snow it's going to continue burning because of the jail okay Oh base gel will not go out any other type just normal wax vaseline petroleum whatever believe me I've tried it would go out and when keep a constant flame like this see I'd have plenty of time it's been already three minutes to warm up my hands let that burn and go out in the woods and try and find me some wood to get this burning see the snow is melting around it but it's not affecting my cotton ball at all I don't know how much time I'd have left there but it's been four minutes and this thing can burn I think I was I was absolutely wrong when I said just five minutes i could give this a 10 and maybe 20 and we were in bad conditions right now it's minus 18 and we're in snow and it's going in so imagine on just a normal day I think it's a pretty good cotton ball and I want to thank you marty for your comment because it kept an open mind and gave me you know got me thinking you had a good point I thank you for that you see guys this thing is gonna make a hole right through the snow without going out I don't know if you see the hole there but there's the hole the size of the Cosmo already it's burning good I would have had plenty of time to try and go in the woods and get me some some stuff anyways just thought I could share this with you guys again but this is the last one ok now we're already five minutes 39 in five minutes 40 I think this thing could burn for a good 10 minutes minimum and it's building a big hole around it and cold weather and the snow is not affecting it at all ok I think I'm pretty much out of time I don't know how much time i took with the first video so I'll let you guys go and I'll tell you exactly how long this burnt ok I'll write it down thanks for watching guys appreciate you bye guys it's been exactly 12 minutes 35 seconds

and I'm truly impressed myself see I don't know if you can see how deep it is but it's going to be touching my wood pretty soon and I'm going to have to stop this before it does burn my wood the d.c that's at least six inches deep and is still burning like beautiful I think this is a very good cotton ball I'm starting to see the wood okay I'm running out of time guys thanks for watching
