even though it's spring son feels great it's still cold I was froze again this morning and with the wind there's a wind chill right now it's not so bad but in the fields of snow you know we're starting to melt away but I'm just trying to find a somewhat of a dry spot let me just give you a little look here you'll find it stay on the edge of this field no snow there but step in the woods well as you can see oh my nope

I didn't bring my snowshoes and I don't feel like wearing my snowshoes any longer anyway

so no spring actually starts in the month of May here okay so let's find that little dry spot now well at least there's no snow anyway should be grateful for that it's not dry by any means but so I thought I'd take the fire box out enjoy this spring day and see what happens see what happens why is this guy using the fire box that way that's not how you use a fire box you're absolutely right but I got other plans and you know it still works fine like this it's off the ground you got air going there I didn't put the ash tray behind so there's air flow I know I'm on grass but don't worry there's about a foot of water under it and as you can see this is where I am right now and I know that there's probably some what do you call those things probably a grill that comes with it to cook some steaks and stuff but I'm gonna do it differently you know this this little stove is very versatile you give me pretty much what you want my platform is right there I'm gonna wait for some little bit of coals but I'm gonna want some flames this time because I wanna I don't want to burn it but I still want to kind of spit fire it so we'll see how it goes yep that's gonna be some good I just know it

Montreal's steak spice you've seen this tons of times but be long I'd say not even about a minute that should be enough oh yeah just like a barbecue

you see I don't want too much flame I don't want to burn the stake so you see I hardly have any wood in there very efficient little stove doesn't take much wood slow cook I got like two three pieces in there when it's done I just push it in you know it's all I need a few minutes and this will be cooked and once that's done I'll just put the ash pan back in the back here where's my finger there in the back and pop her back up then have a coffee okay so there's the steak the steak went fine it looks good now so I put the ash pan back here you know this might be a new skill to learn try and flip this back let's see here bring these closer where went pretty good if I do say so myself just put a little bit more stable here maybe hold on stay okay now you're talking cool so now all I need to do is add some wood for my coffee

I know that some of you have been asking about the the lid for the you know GI Cup or typical GI Cup I have no idea I mean this was from a trade I got a few years back

so I can't really it says HC heavy cover I think canteen what do you call him kenting corner or canteen shop canteen store can't remember sorry about that me and my memory but I think he used to sell those or you know just Google up GI a cover or GI lid I'm sure there's some for sale somewhere or maybe some of you know where to get these so a if you're kind enough to put in the comments so others can see it so they can purchase this Thanks right now while I'm warming up my water the fire that's coming off of this fire box is actually giving me just enough heat to be perfectly comfortable right now in this weather area way I'll protect you from the wind it's just getting me perfect heat with little effort really you picked yourself you know a couple of branches like this you can saw them offer put them right in there's lots of place yeah perfect starting like this firebox more and more so if you guys don't have the accessory there's probably an accessory that goes with a grill or you can use the ash pan to put on the top you know it's up to you but putting it sideways a little bit you know tilted like this so the wood and the coal stator both ends open I mean do and a half minutes and lay my steak was cooked so pretty cool Oh still burning nice my coffee is nice and ready oh look at that piece of Awesomeness right there I like roughing it smoothly this is an awesome day guys great don't go away I got something to show you and I don't even know what it is yet
