alright man good job rug marine possum in a snare good job where's the orgy snare that broke right around the body okay good job man nice critter so the question now is you got stared around the body so you can let them go live or it's a $6 fur man all right sweet I got really no use food ok good enough man good on you get on you're letting him go not on target let him go

morning guys Dave Canterbury pathfinder school just wanted to real quick go along with the video that we're shooting at the Hudson Bay choppin class out here I wanted to dispel one of the little nasty rumors out there about snares and the reusability of snares now we're using three thirty-seconds cable snares these are not picture wire these are actual cable snares that are meant for capturing animals they have locking devices on them they have swivels on them so they're more humane this particular snare had about a six or eight pound possum in this morning and you can see that it's just absolutely been destroyed so anybody who tells you that you can use snares over and over again or that you can make snares out of picture wire and catch multiple handles animals in them I would challenge them and say they've never caught an animal snare in their life because this is what a snare looks like when an animal's been in it and I wanted to show that to you guys just for educational purposes so we all understand that a snare is going to be a one-time shot you got 12 snares you got 12 animals if you got Connor bears or foot holes you've gotten tell them things rust away okay so day three on the Hudson Bay line here and this is Rich's set from northern Ohio and he just had a flat set right here the intersection of a trail and there's a rabbit in the set but two rabbits missing its head so he caught the rabbit and the predator came along and took care of that for him but you still got a rabbit that's fully intact been cold all night so there ain't nothing wrong with eating that bad boy Bon Appetit red so we're back out here at the Hudson Bay Brian Manning had a little set and run over here coming out of this Creek with the 110 Conner bears got himself a nice little muskrat

there hold that thing up let's take a look at that if the leaves off of him there and see what you got look at that one rat nice job sixteen eighteen dollar fur there probably good job buddy so you got one skunk one skunk one must rat one rat nice top of the leaderboard top deletable nice job we got a beautiful area I heard that we're trapping for water sets haven't had much luck that's only sucking anybody out here though

and already got one muskrat out of here we're probably gonna have to pull the traps today because law this is froze up it's supposed to snow tonight so the traps will probably frozen tomorrow but they got experience setting traps out here in a water area caught a muskrat that's awesome good job Brian give me a muskrat smile muskrat smile hi you
