okay guys I've added a little bit of artificial light here because I want to make sure that you guys can see I don't shout out everything over to back starting to get late today so it's getting dark in here it's not easy for me to shadow things I'm not careful I've been asked to go over the contents of my shop pouch so I thought I would do that for you guys today my shop pounce is just a beaver hide a single open pouch that's about 10 by 12 made by a guy up in Michigan inside out I just keep very simple things I have two slugs shells here three-inch slugs okay I have one reloaded buck and ball load I have my insert adaptor for my 22 that was showed in the video on that with the extraction pen and the cover for the front of my muzzle in case I'm going to be in rainy weather in case I need to use that for a crutch or something like that if I had to that was a suggestion on one of the videos I thought was really really good that would make this multi-purpose as well but really this is just to protect the muzzle of the gun from getting dirt and debris in it or sticking down in the mud if it's on the back of my pack I carry three rounds of six-shot in there and those are two or three quarter inch shells and then I carry one two three four five of the shells that I've reloaded with BB shot that are solid brass okay in the video that I did showing how to reload those solid brass shells and modify them to shoot to a nine shotgun primer alright then I keep a small bag that's got my cleaning accoutrements in it for the weapon itself and I've been asked how do I clean my 12-gauge in here in the yurt no I use a cleaning kit or going to use the same thing that I showed in the video I do it exactly the same way I use warm water and ashes to clean out the barrel pyro decks and black powders and things like that are corrosive to a barrel but if you remember right all of these rounds that I make are sealed with tallow which is going to lube that barrel on the way out before that black powder files it up anyway so it's not too bad

I don't clean my gun every time I shoot it but I clean it you know at least once a week if I'm out hunting a lot so in this cleaning kit it's very simple I've got one small piece of triple off steel war quadruple steel wool multi-purpose fire I carry a greased rag here that I used to just wipe the gun down with the things like that again multi-purpose for fire I carry just a piece of cotton cloth here that I can use to break tear pieces off with use for patches I can use the clean the gun with to help wipe it out or again multi-purpose fire or bandages I've got the same roll of twine here with a tee toggle on it that I can use to pull through my through the barrel just like a bore snake to pull patches through and pull steel wool through to clean it again multi-purpose I've got cordage here for all the things that cords can be used for and then I keep a small tent here and all this is is just a used mini in front of 10 that's empty and it's full of just deer Tyler that's been rendered down and melted into this 10 so again you know this is a multi-purpose as well I can use to clean the gun with to grease the gun with to grease the inner parts of the gun with to care for the wood I can use it for a lip balm I've use it for all the things we talked about using lard for in a small quantity I can stick a wick in there if I needed to and use it for an impromptu candle or grease lamp if I had to so there's a lot of things that I can use just a little bit of tallow for and having it in the shop bag just makes it that much more multi-purpose so those are the things generally that I carry in my shop bag some guys I know will throw a small folding knife of some kind especially in 18th century they carried a lot of times a small folding knife or pass knife in their shop bag or on their shop bag I don't do that because I generally have that in my pocket whether it's a multi tool or a folding knife or it's in my pack accessible to me I don't generally keep a blade in here but that might not be a bad idea either so I want to go over real quick with you guys just a simple things that I keep in my shop bag doesn't make it too heavy it gives me plenty of shots if I'm just going out on the hunt for a day or two days I've got plenty of ammunition there to take care of that there's no reason on a short Scouter hunt to carry you know a ton of ammunition with you if you were in a bug-out situation or you know you're going to be out long-term yeah then you're going to need a lot more ammunition than this but this is plenty more than enough for a two-day hunt I thought real quick guys at the end of this video I would answer just a couple questions real quick um one of the questions I had was more than one time people have said I think I hear guinea fowl in the background you have guineas than I do I have four guinea fowl out here I raise guinea fowl I raise pheasants I raise quail I raise rabbits I raised chickens Araucana chickens and I raise goats so you know it goes right along with my philosophy of live food never spoils it's always there when you need it if it produces more food in the process that's even better you know I get fresh eggs every day Mike will be really good inside of my pheasant in the summertime at laying eggs and things like that and they're always there if I need them an emergency for food the other question I want to answer for you guys real quick was I've had a couple questions about this cross necklace that I wear the necklace itself was made for me by Brandon a shark tak Kydex he made all these beads out of leftover micarta the cross was made by Dan Coppins for me as a special gift from blind horse knives it's also made out of micarta now I've been asked is that a multifunctional tool or is it just you know for religious purposes well anybody knows me knows that I don't wear anything that's not multifunctional it does have cordage you know obviously it's got about a foot and a half a paracord on it but it also has I'll take this necklace off I'm going to show you guys this it also has a through-and-through hole in the cross itself right here and if I take a repair needle and just punch it through it has a small diameter Farra cm rod little oxidized at the moment it has a pharisee them right inside of it as well to make an emergency fire if needs be so it is a multifunctional item it's not just for religious purposes everything that I have is multifunctional so I wanted to answer that question for you guys while we were have IDEO that I could answer a couple questions again I appreciate you guys to use I appreciate your support

back to another video as quick as I can guys

you
