okay guys you've been asking for a pathfinder cribs episode on the yurt from American yurts there we go stepping inside here I've got the flap open on the door bear in mind right now so probably not as warm in here as it would be on a normal basis you can see I've got some clothing hanging from the walls the walls are all insulated with 7030 military wool blankets all the way around pinned up to the size to keep insulation in there's a bunk over here for miss iris there's a bunk over here for myself okay shotgun stowed to the side a few more clothes hanging up on the wall over there come right down here to the front real quick and I'll show you I've got a snow truck or tents wood stove in here you can see that thing just blasts okay I mean it's blasting the heat in here before I opened this door it was 63 degrees in here I had the fire going now again stoked hard for probably the last half an hour maybe if that over here I've got my backpack and my nightstand Bible turtle shell grease lamp and a couple other items there special gift from a friend hanging there piece of chain mail with the Pathfinder logo on it got a folding wooden chair in here right here and up here is the thermometer it says 58 degrees right now and here I don't know if you can see that or not that's not too back it's sitting up temperature outsides about 30 you can see there's deer hides on the floor the way this floor is set up and here is we've got a piece of formula plastic on the floor we have 70 30 won't blankets on top of that and we have a deer hi we have deer hides on top of that there's approximately 15 deer hides in here on the floor now that's to give us conductive insulation obviously your stove is going to give us our reading Heat

so we got a 12 foot yurt in here and really set up pretty nice we don't have everything in here yet I don't believe I do have some firewood over on this side by the door I'm pretty pleased with it so far you know the floor installation is working out pretty well you can sit on it sign it my skivvies and it's not too bad I don't think anyone sit there all night obviously but if you had to lay on the floor with a couple wool blankets you could get by with that especially with this stove cooking like it is right now and these bunks are just gonna keep you right out the stove heat level so that's a good thing I was a suggestion by one of my buddies on Facebook or YouTube one or two as well well I'm still having a bed on the floor I have that bed raised a little bit so we're going with that I'm Dave Canberra at the Pathfinder school I appreciate you joining me for another episode of Pathfinder cribs in the Pathfinder yurt and we'll be getting back to you with some short uploaded videos off and on during the next 30 to 45 days that we're staying in this year and cooking in the yurt and cleaning ourselves in the earth and doing all of those types of things I'm sure there's people that are interested in seeing what you can do with little amounts of things at a small space like this so we're going to try to affect that for you the videos will be very short uploads I'm not sure if I've got Internet service out here yet or not I may have to walk to five or six hundred yards to the house to upload a video or something once a day but I'm going to try to do it from this urine or off my phone or the two onto YouTube so stay with me we'll be back tonight I appreciate your views I appreciate your support I'm Dave Canada with Pathfinder school thank you very much you
