one of God's Dave Cadbury the Pathfinder school what I wanted to discuss this morning with you was I wanted to discuss what I'm going to call the common man's last shot and I don't do very many firearm reviews I've done the m6 Scout I've done a video on the Mosin Nagant I've done lots of videos on the 12-gauge shotgun I'm into simplicity and Firearms I like things simple and bulletproof and one of the things that men have used you know since even the early early 1800s has been what's called the derringer for his last shot or his last defensive round that he could fire from a gun that would fit into his pocket and the name derringer comes from Henry derringer who invented a flintlock pocket-sized pistol in 1825 and it later graduated to a percussion cap and then later graduated to the modern rimfire and centerfire type cartridges and I want to go over a gun with you today that meets my criteria of a bulletproof versatile common man's last shot so stay with me okay guys so what I have in front of me here is the Lind derringer chambered and 45 long colt 410 shotgun this is made in Ducktown Tennessee common man price on this is about $100 brand new in the box as I said it's chambered 45 long colt or 410 shotgun which means you have the versatility of those two rounds and you can buy heavy-duty quantity hunting arounds like this which you could also shoot out of a 12-gauge shotgun with an eight-inch rifle adapter have the deer hunting cartridge because it's a straight walled cartridge over 40 caliber so this is a legal deer hunting around so if I'm carrying a gun adapters comm adapter in 45 long colt for my 12-gauge eight inches long rifle this is an ideal deer hunting around it also has the versatility of being fired from this derringer now the one thing I didn't have when I bought this was the versatility I like it being able to shoot 22

so I called my buddy at Short Lane arms no problem he sent me this for 22 long-rifle drops right down inside and now I can shoot 22 CCI stingers right out of this gun so now it's a three caliber gun I don't care that this is rifled I don't care it's only three inches long because a derringer is made for a last shot it's up close and personal right on top of somebody that's what we're looking for with the derringer so it doesn't matter if this thing's rifled it doesn't matter if it's going to tumble coming out of the barrel after 15 yards because I'm only going to be two to three yards away or one-on-one with someone so if I'm trying to protect myself or protect my camp from human or animal I have three cartridges capability with this single gun that cost right around $100 fits into a pocket fits into a backpack pouch whatever the case may be if you're using this in your camp for your last shot the good thing about this if it's carried with in conjunction with a 12-gauge again it's not going to fire the 12-gauge around but I always carry adapters with my 12-gauge for 45 or 410 and 45 long colt 22 so I've got the same versatility of these three ammos in my 12-gauge plus 12-gauge that I have in this derringer as well so I wanted to show you guys this today again this is made in duck town Tennessee in the USA liyan arms

it has a adapter that was made by gun adapters calm and if I'm going to shoot twenty-twos out of this I can just leave it in there if not you know when I learned something else in there I put the 22 adapter is the same size as a 410 shell just about so it will fit anywhere I've got my 410 shells very very nice versatile little weapon virtually bulletproof works great it's got a great safety device on it that they've improved over time I had one of these before this is a brand new one I have all the confidence in the world in this gun for a last shot capability so I wanted to kind of go over that with you guys today and show you what I would consider a common man's last shot type gun at a common man price that has the versatility of shooting three different types of ammunition okay guys one Dave Canterbury the Pathfinder school I hope you enjoyed this down and dirty review of this
