nice career here pathfinder school not here today going to do a video on an Apache foot trap this was a request from a friend of mine so what this trap is is for a larger hook type animal to step into and for it to catch is snared so what we need to do is find a obvious game trail that you know say something like a deer so our hope is going to walk down then we need to dig is alone then happy very big or very deep this use my canteen cup stove here to dig out this little hole the first thing we need to do is make us some rings like this this is made out of just grapevine and the bigger one needs to be able to fit the hole and then next we need to make a smaller one that's about this big around in the center way I like to do this finding a piece of grapevine weddings off

so now the object of this is to make an animal step on this spot on this trail how we're going to do that just take something and place it on the trail now imagine this clothes a little bigger on either side of this hole that way is mr. animals coming down this hole or this trail he's going to step over whatever we place in this trail right he's gonna want to step over and come into our trap you know we usually call placement sticks when you're like trapping flying sets on trails with canines and such with steel traps exact same principle with this trap so there would be our finished trap on the trail got it hid anchored will on a likely spot with our sticks for our foot placement come up step over
