you

back in the woods afternoon guys

Dave calibrate the pathfinder school wanted to do another quick product review with you guys and show you one of the products that we have a link to on our website one of our affiliate sites Duluth pack company that does a lot of work with the Pathfinder school has many Pathfinder logo items has got a hammer sack that I helped them to design we have a link to it on our website you can go to and directly by this haversack from Duluth this one is a brown canvas treated waxed duct material and so it's fairly waterproof it has an ax sleeve on the back so that you can tuck your ax or your tomahawk in the back of it I have my Pathfinder tomahawk tucked in the back of it now so that it's right there on your side when you're walking around you don't have to worry about you can pull it right out of there you don't have to have a separate sheath board or anything like that it's attached to your hammer sack now what I really liked about this haversack and the design of it is number one it's plenty big to carry anything that you would need for shorts Callie we have the Pathfinder hammer sock as well on our website that's just a normal brown dark brown wax canvas 1750s to 1770 style plain haversack that things bulletproof mine's lasted me forever I've still got the same one I started with and I use it all the time the reason I designed this one was to make a little bit higher end haversack that could be used as a combination haversack or shooting bag as well as a Possible's bag this will hold quite a bit of stuff it's got a gusset in it so it's fairly wide and it's got a lot of pockets in it and I can get you know almost all of the 10 C's pretty much in this pack for a short Scout and when I say 10 C's I mean emergency stuff I don't mean you know a full-blown shelter but I've got a 55-gallon drum liner in here I'll show you what's in this bag in a minute was as we go through it so you can see what the pouches look like but I want to give you a look at it real quick now we've roll stamped the Pathfinder logo on this bag it doesn't come like this it comes with a leather Pathfinder logo here from Duluth pack company alright it's got a really nice wide adjustable cotton webbing strap

it you can see on the back it's got a sleeve that you can put any accent I've carried my wetterling's in here my 19 inch hunters axe as well as my pathfinder my double bit you know any tomahawk or accent you want to put in here it's going to ride in here just fine and then it's got a large flap on the front so let me get this camera Justin will kind of go through what I'm carrying in this bag right now and what it will hold all right so stay with me guys okay guys so look at this pack from the front here it's got a nice leather strap and brass buckle on it right here in the front when you open it up you can see this got some compartments right in the front almost like a map case style design you know it's got a nice case right here that fits my Altoids ten fire kit very very well and then I've got a Lansky sharpener here my Baco file here and I've got an extra slot here I can put something if I wanted to and I've got my claw sail needle stuck right in that seam right there okay on the outside here it has a pocket on each side this one's got my multi-tool in it you know my philosophy is always go tool heavy because I can make everything else if I have to and I've got a buckle a planter saw in the other side then in the pouch that's inside that which is behind this front panel I've just got my compass but there's plenty of room in there for a whole lot of other stuff and then the main compartment I've got my headlight a bandanna a roll of cordage my Pathfinder stainless steel bottling cup and that takes up the main compartment there's a little bit of room left in there I want to put a pair of gloves or what-have-you and then there's a zippered compartment in the back of this thing and that's where I have a 55-gallon

3mil drum liner so that would be my shelter option or my cover option above and beyond my clothing in an emergency situation like I said it's just a scouting bag so it's not meant for I'm going to stay out in the woods overnight it's if I have to I could but right now I'm just out scouting around that's what this bag is for you know I'd have a backpack in addition to this if I were planning to stay in the woods so there's plenty of room and here you can see even with those three items on the inside there's plenty of room inside just bucket for more stuff I just don't overstuff it and then I've got my extra bandana in there because inside my water bottle you know I've got my spring device that makes my bail I've got my spork and I've got a bandana inside there as well so with that that gives me a pretty well-rounded kit you know as long as I've got my knife on my side I've got my pls k1 Pathfinder on my side right now so with that I'm pretty tool heavy and I can do a lot of things so that's a pretty well-rounded scouting kit in that bag and then of course you know any extra tomahawk that I want to put on the back just rides right down in the back side of it right against my body that makes it real convenient for carry like I said it does have a really nice wide like a 2 inch wide cotton webbing adjustable strap on it and you can just put it right over your shoulder on your side and you're ready to rock and roll well guys I appreciate you joining me today for this quick product review on the Duluth Pathfinder haversack shooting bag it's a pretty nice product I like mine real well I gave the prototype to Tony Daniel and this is the second one that was made in production and now they are made in full production on the loose website like I said there's a link on our website to it if you're interested you can go look at it I'm Dave Canterbury I appreciate you joining for this video I appreciate your support I appreciate your views I appreciate everything that you do for myself my school and all the affiliates of the Pathfinder school as well we thank you very much I'll be back with a video real shortly

you
