okay so real quick one of the things that I find beginners have a hard time with us getting this tail off in one piece

and what I do is once I get in there separate the fur and I've got some tail showing here and that's not difficult to do you can cut some of that fat away get that thing to where you've got that tail and you can grab a hold of it then come in here with your knife and a good sharp Mora works really well for this and start to split that tail fur up the center and just divide it with your fingers and split in between and what gonna happen is that'll make your tail come off a lot cleaner and easier for you and the further you can get that thing cut down safe and I'll cut your fingers of butter remember that hair is probably one of the worst things for your knife as far as making your knife dull so keep yourself a strop around and you can see now I'm getting to the part where it's really really thin I'm going to be careful of my fingers here all right but pull that stuff down as you can get that tail pulled out of there just like that as you're pulling the hide down keep working out hiding down at the same time though just make things easier in the long run here a minute and once you've got that tension on there like that where you've got that tail split down pretty far take yourself a tail strip you do yourself a favor and get one of these you can use two sticks you can use your fingers but this thing right here is a safer bet and it's got different sized holes in it for the size of tail that you're working with so I can put that thing right around the tail and then you want to get down you want to get a good grip on this thing you want to pull down toward the ground like this and then your tails going to come off in one nice solid piece that's exactly what you want and then you're just going to come back in there after you get this fur off and split that tail down the rest of the way you can just shove your more a knife blade in there split

right out piece of cake I had a young man asking about the Glens on this Coon the other day that you want to remove before you cook it and they're right here there's one right there and the other ones on this side right there now if you're going to use this stuff for bait you want those glance you want to save them but you want to get rid of those when you're processing this meat if you're going to cook this king
