alright so here we got back in camp what's going on guys hope everyone's good

alright so Marcus its organizing this epic bushcraft show coming up it's called the new england bushcraft show that's April 28th and it's gonna be kind of like an outdoor Expo he's gonna explain all of it right now I'm gonna be there I'm gonna be a vendor I'm gonna be speaking doing workshops the whole bit and it's gonna be it's gonna be insane man I can't wait this we don't have anything like this in New England so this is gonna be awesome so hand the floor over to you that's about it thanks Mitch yes I'm super excited in this community I'm working with here and all the volunteers and participants are super jazzed so what we have going on is the New England bushcraft show it's a one-day outdoor Expo at a phenomenal location I've partnered with this group called 508 international they've got a 22 or 23 acre site that is basically it's New England's adventure playground is what they call it so just placed it we've got access to so it's going to be outdoor as Mitch was just saying we've got vendors we've got survivor schools and structures we've got you know wilderness workshops adventure travel workshop so we've got product demonstrations a lot of really cool stuff going on and I'd love to have you participate at the show so if you want to find out more information I'd point you first of all to our website it's New England bushcraft no orgy if you just want to go ahead and get your tickets I'd go to Eventbrite and and just google or type of an event write search engine and look for the New England bushcraft show

it's April 28th it's going to run from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and what right now with all of the instructors and workshops and speakers and talks that we've arranged we've got over 30 hours worth of content being delivered over that period of time so that means that if you come to the show every hour of the day you'll be selecting from three or four different activities that you could get involved with everything from celestial navigation

be talking about two different types of fire craft there's people doing demonstrations on friction fire people looking at natural tinder we've got a group that's gonna be doing wilderness medicine there's another group that's gonna be looking at edge tools edge toward maintenance and school safety I know I'm not going to go into every single detail right now but feel free so check out the website take a look at the the Eventbrite page and reach out to me if you've got any questions we've been the New England bushcraft organization we've been meeting up with our participants and our exhibitors and vendors like Mitch and we've been playing out little video blurbs so if you want to check us out on YouTube that's New England bushcraft work just one word New England bushcraft work and you can see our walk about Wednesday series where we talk to each of the volunteers and exhibitors and speakers that will be part of the show so we hope you can make it if you have any questions makes you want to ask me a questions and we can talk to your audience about yes sir so how much Thanks so right now there might still be some early bird tickets available and if they are they're 20 bucks that's at $20 per person 25 bucks if the early birds have run out we also have what we call a VIP ticket which if I remember correctly is 50 dollars and the difference with the VIP ticket is two things one is that you're gonna get your foot in the door first we let the VIPs come on-site first secondly VIPs are given preferential access on-site so if there's a long line to go and do a product demonstration or to go take a ride in one of the off-road motorbikes or go and see one of the one of the speakers you're gonna be able to use that VIP ticket to jump to the head of the line but you can only use it once so you got to be very careful but when you decide to use that that's cool i would love to offer a brit some tea yeah so check it out it's absolutely amazing what's going on he's I mean this is the first year yeah like fenders like fall we're even gonna be there so it's it's gonna be just incredible I'm super super stoked about it really excited and there's gonna be outdoor wilderness areas that actually have like camping set up basically so like if I want I can go there with my parachute and have like an outdoor teaching area you know with access to woodland so it's not just like you know in a warehouse where he has woodland on site on top of the 23 acre field that's all set up there's a gravel walkway that goes all the way around the perimeter so it's gonna have easy access even if you're in a wheelchair I would assume yeah yeah it's safe everybody incredible man yep yeah there's gonna be porta-johns on site we're gonna have vendors and food trucks and one of the things I'm trying to do and you might seen this in in some other videos I talked about this needing to be I'm wanting to be a family-oriented event so you know you may be interested in witchcraft yourself and you might want to bring your spouse and your kids along just because they're gonna have fun they're gonna enjoy it if they're under 10 years old if your kids are under 10 years old bring them and it's free if there are ten years old or older buy a ticket for them because then they can participate in the workshops they can participate in the activities and they'll really enjoy it look at a lot out of it it's also gonna be something you can bring your dogs to if you've got you know well-behaved dogs there and they have to stay on their leash the whole time but if they're well-behaved feel free to bring them you know this is this is an outdoor environment and if we can get a good turnout here and demonstrate to my partner's 5:08 International that this is something that our community really is going to enjoy and get and get value out of we'll be doing it again next year and next year I'm hoping that we can make it a multi-day event and we can do camping on-site for everybody not just for the for the vendors and the exhibitors well I mean that sounds incredible so you have Overland expedition going on like those kinds of things you have bush crafters like survival and struck there's vendors food trucks I mean you name it it seems like it's there

yeah we've we've just got so much skill and expertise for the people in this region like I've been reaching out to people in the New England region they're trying to represent them I haven't really gone extensively out to all of the vendors that are involved in the outdoors

space instead I in a Malcolm was probably the first person I reached out to from a vendor perspective when I said look this is something I want to do is is really shine a spotlight on the capabilities skills and resources that we have in this in this Northeast region right the other thing I'm interested in is breaking down silos like I want there to be people from over landing from adventure travel for backpacking you know fishing and hunting as well as bushcraft and and wood carving and embrace other related disciplines you know I want to try and make this an all encompassing event anybody can come to and get something out of it he told me he's gonna be teaching his class is gonna be teaching how to sew you how to make like a Possible's pouch or something like that and so for any aspiring gear makers out there whether they want a Marja gear make your own gear things like that and you can learn from the best I mean he's the best in the area his company and his rocks and in all his items I've been using for years and yes he made you know my blankets initially he made all mic this is all Malcolm's mature I've been using stuff for years so I can certainly attest the quality of his workmanship and so a guy of that caliber coming you know so each person is teaching a facet of their understanding that they're their expert in and so I think it's great to have such a wide expanse of experience all coming in converging that would never be touching normally all the same place all the same day I can't wait to walk around and dig into all these different places my biggest fear is that I'm gonna be so busy making sure that the show I'm not actually gonna participate all right so April 28th it's in Charlton Charlton Massachusetts April 28th all right so get on that website check it out if it seems like something that you're interested in I will see you there I'm gonna have my table set up I'll be selling you know some of my hand-carved items spoons things like that I'm hoping to have some some blankets and stock by then I'm off of some knives with me when I need a survival knife I designed so I think everyone is bringing some pretty quality things and there's a huge cottage industry in

crafts and a lot of us design our own gear make our own gear and if there's be a you know a lot of crafters there with their unique items yeah so if you're into that too come see us then and this is a mitch with native survival and marcus marcus with the new england bushcraft show thank you

you
