its mission in a survival so able to work on an old canoe stay tuned alright so this in the backyard right now sticking our cars and things like that but it's almost throwing away this old monster and it's like a 16-footer and I was like you know what I think this needs a little love seats are uh dry rotted out over here they had piece of plywood just screwed screwed over that side so need some work but should be too big of a deal all right some idea on the seats is basically just to break all this out put some quarter inch going each way on it I'm going to use a power cord on one side and Bank line on the other you know same stuff on our site that way I'll have each quarters with me I could take some off the seat in case I need it on the fly right so I'm gonna just get started I'm gonna break this out the other ones already broken out because I had that piece of plywood on it all right I took those four screws out so that so that's good to go and I'm going to just start lashing this in and see how it works out working yeah it's broken it's my little daughter how you doing sweetheart okay oh I'm gonna give me a cookie

all right so my my plan is just to put a constrictor knot right here and then just go over and under one direction and construct the nod I might remember is just a clove hitch with a modification you know it's really was a great fine you know I mean free canoe just needs a little work you know and the work is fun you know it's I'm gonna enjoy model you know you want to find these seats with paracord and Bank line it's a fun job at the same time you know this is something I'd want to do with the new canoe anyways you know if I bought a brand new canoe which isn't going to happen because I most certainly don't have scimitar dolls the bike Knable even a hundred dollars a bike in him that's why I was so happy to see this one you know that was being thrown away I was like wow let's I put a bunch of water into it and didn't leak so I'm like that's awesome yeah I'll definitely take that well so some of the seats are broken you know it's like I I would actually end up modifying it trying to find ways to you know add paracord and bank line and other such tools that I'm gonna want you know even on a new canoe you know like I'd wrap it around the wood and stuff like that anyway so works for me

so not only is it awesome that ended up picking up a free canoe but now I get to have some fun working on it right like you always say one guy's trash another man's treasure tell you what I'm gonna be treasuring this thing when it's on the water got my daughter out there we got a my fishing kit side pocket fishing kits with us she catches her first fish yeah yep yeah that's what I'm talking about cook it on the shore alright it's gonna be awesome so I definitely feel blessed that I ran into this community that is definitely going to improve my family's life all right so this is all I'm doing I'm just wrap that around keep it nice and tight pretty much all there is to it should be nice and solid all right getting right near the end here looks like a just enough cord I worked out I think that's actually probably the last I can get on right there let's see I'm going to put a clove hitch right here so then I should go back one more so have enough room to tie the knot

all right there it is done just have a little bit extra cord I'm not sure what I'm going to do with that just yet probably cut it off or something I'm not sure let's try it out all right see what we got
