all right so today I'll talk about the benefits of using a compact so some of the reasons I like to use a compact truck is because it's a small unit which forces me it's not have too many extras I don't have this massive kit inside this little rough very narrow rock it also forces me to be really good at packing to organize things because I have such a small space I have to really only carry with me what I need and put it in a way that will work if not I have to leave it out of my kit another bonus of such a small kit is that it's really light gives me a lot of agility in the woods it allows me to shoot a bow while I'm wearing it it just allows me a lot of benefits that a large pack can really be a detriment on when a pack is really heavy I find that my ankles can get sore easy

I can turn an ankle I can hurt myself it hurts my back my balance is off a small kit just just belongs in the woods so in my kit what I have is pretty much a full kit ready to go I can sleep overnight it's no problem with this I have my two canteens from the sides my axe camera pouch on my food bags my drink pouch probably taking an outside a cup of coffee today extra stuff like insulation this case is a scarf poncho to fall underneath my sleeping bag as a moisture barrier a Possible's pouch spoon knife sharpening stones and agarose stone cordage you name it lots of stuff in there my cooking pot 2 quart titanium pot my tarp in here I have my axe grandpa's Brooks side pocket a little sleeve effects your tools folding soft this particular rock also has a another pocket here it's huge don't even music mat pocket I don't use it I have a first aid kit things like that and the front that's the main body of the rock I don't really need much more than that all I need now is my sleep system now for a sleep system with a small rock like this it forces you to be clever I have to really be good at packing I have to really figure out ways to make things work with this compact size

it's bedroll is my wool blanket also has a secret though inside the wool blanket is my sleeping bag this is the green sleeping bag that goes with the military Sleep System my sleeping bag fits inside I will blanket fits right inside like a little bitty gently next to the fire it's really warm doesn't put any holes in my nylons sleeping bag so putting my sitting bag inside my bedroll allows me to carry a sleeping bag that would probably take up almost my whole rucksack interior instead I have this pusle wool blanket and the rucksack so by packing this rock in a clever way it allows me to hold a bunch of gear in a really small package both of me to have only what I need and not overdo it with weight and overdoing with items yes I really prefer these little rocks I love them this is a hidden woodsman de Rock I also have an old Italian military canvas rucksack I I just really like small rocks because I can still have my whole kit I don't need a lot of stuff space wise and it just feels like it's safer in the woods it's lighter agility I mean it just feels nice on my back it's only you know 20-something pounds it's really small it's great I've used small rocks like this hiking in the mountains I've just used them for years I really prefer a small rocks I love small rocks it's a mission in a survival school I'm sure to check out our website in a survival calm and as always enjoy the outdoors possibly with a small rock
