it's up YouTube guys and gals slope everyone's good hanging out at the native survival camp rocking the parachute as always got some buddies here with me of course be eating a massive amount of food we're super pumped because this video is sponsored by butcher box they sent me an amazing package of meat let's cook for you guys you're not gonna believe this so they have multiple styles boxes styles they have like all beef or chicken pork a mixed box check out their website butcher box and you can go through got steel custom box which is what I rocked I got some salmon it's not farmed
I've been eating organic food for like 18 years and most of this is organic the salmon is not farmed it's wild caught Alaskan salmon again I got the custom box so I could order a whole bunch of extra stuff and you know really customize what I was getting so I could show you guys what's in here so me my putting ink you're looking at some filled garlic in front of us all on the ground BAM right over here see all this so gold nice and fresh yep it's all just growing up right now loads of garlic there's so much in this field that's going to taste good with all the grass-fed beef can't wait dude clean off a piece showing the bulb these are just like scallion so like the green onions that you buy in the grocery store except they're wild and it's called filled garlic smells amazing tastes amazing we eat the stuff all the time I always cook it and put it on my food just like scallions it has a a round cross-section I think we got enough what do you think I guess so huh I didn't realize you got that many we just kept on grabbing them it's so easy [Applause]
all right
just looking down the trailhead oh is it I didn't notice oh yeah on the trail yeah yeah oh yeah definitely
1:53 box that's just a night [Laughter]
yeah especially well elite it's rhabdo this is already rates going up yeah my stomach's starting the hurdle nose is twitching
as a reporting some food looking to meet almost
for two as well so you bring it back in on with that bought me coma just in case you can never be too prepared we resuscitate
why are you jumping on his chest that day right we had so much meat least I've had Gary's like Adams were hiding help I could hear him like yeah I'm gonna get a blockage good NASA's all the real stuff organic free-range wild salmon
you got salmon to do the stuffs off the hook man
the stuff is off the hook well I think one of them right off the meat wagon one of the best things I think that you need that I absolutely loved was the duck with the brown sugar that that's like yeah he kept me heaps off taking the fat like that reducing the fat and stuff and basting the duck breast we are there in flames it was horrible no I would pay money for that great kid okay so in this cooler I have the tote that it came in so it came in a big box it was fully insulated brought some here with me really thick insulation on the box so came to me really cold beautiful the mail bag back to nature with your box really cool tote I get the heat okay so let's just dig right in my box came with a whole bird whole chicken USDA Organic amazing I opted for a couple pounds of Hamburg this is a grass-fed I also opted it up for my favorite steak rib eyes gonna love that grass-fed rib eyes amazing my favorite do this strip two inch thick cut strip are you kidding me right now oh my I know right my boys over here are drooling a couple bone-in pork chops I love bone-in adds more flavor let's just keep going a couple packs of bacon now this bacon it's a special bacon guys I'm telling you my wife when she was on hole 30 was going crazy trying to find bacon like this with the no sugar added uncured smoke it's like really hard to find and like we were ecstatic when it came in that box like she wanted to keep this home next box we're gonna get a box every month so we'll do next time but yeah no antibiotics awesome awesome awesome no sugar added chicken thighs organic I mean crazy man I just can't believe that a company like this exists this is such a good time to be alive man flank steak grass-fed there's a looks like a tri-tip it's actually a sirloin cap roast grass-fed as well and something that I would have custom like I said wild salmon look at how many came in the package yeah I figured I'd get like one or two that's all I like you know like what seven or eight filets in there seven or three
that's incredible wild caught Alaskan sockeye net caught it says even tells you the catch area number 67 so you can actually find out exactly where this was caught that's unbelievable that's that just doesn't happen now also inside this box it came with this really cool book I'm gonna show you guys this real quick today's this cool book kitchen handbook it has a bunch of recipes in it see right over right here so that's going into how to make your own rubs and marinades one for pork chicken beef six garlic cloves minutes that's those six limes one bunch of cilantro 1/4 cup of olive oil very cool so it teaches you how to make rubs for the meat and there's a whole bunch of recipes in the back like tons of recipes every single thing you can imagine all the items that they sell is the New York Strip and York Strip recipes some shaved steak recipes rib eyes potatoes and mushrooms this is obviously the beef section also gives you some information about the primal and sub primals about butchery I apprentice for a little while it's a it's an incredible incredible craft there's the team it's a small company yep so the poultry is in back pork is in the middle right here I mean this is just tons of recipes very cool so I was very surprised to find that I didn't know that was gonna come in the box and this is something that's gonna stay in my kitchen is this really cool slowpoke meals brisket boils and searing all sorts of stuff so appreciate that all right I mean the boys gonna start cooking up some steaks you guys hungry yeah buddy
this is a great place to find rocks underneath the tree and the goofball find really good rocks on the air it's like a little secret secret spot for all kinds of interesting resources all the rocks in there and everything find some good quartz things like that to make stone tools arrowheads seasoning
you know the movies roots knows best yeah Mr Shaw Shaw shot the short shot you can you drop the hose into the stream then you can just do it right there and do your mouth or you can yeah what was the rate again it's like almost two liters in under a minute that's a lot
that's huge you couldn't you couldn't drink that fast good mu V system right yeah you just it has three filters get the chalk cool except the hollow fiber and it's got me in or what they use in the space station so it's like everything's going you don't taste anything at home you can use each individually it's all getting out of pump to a Gary nice Barry's gonna be on the spit all right yeah there
side of it you can get it past the rocks now work now I have room for another one on the other side all right so first I'm gonna start off with this see no sugar added uncured smoked bacon running with the bacon arch on this nice cuts not too thin they cook and bake in this primitive way it adds a nice authentic smoke to it really good
I have my arch off to the side of the fire try them right over the middle bacon tends to not burn as easy when you do it that way because it's off to the side so I'm mainly being cooked on one side
I can't wait what's better than one rack of bacon two racks a big yeah another great way to cook a steak it's right on the embers open the fire up a little bit bless you jack some go down my stomachs growling just looking at this about to happen oh yeah my sizzle fat side towards the fire let's back half up there a little baby now fat in the middle is the best part of the cow in my opinion caveman steak man all right who that it's coming out beautiful yeah it doesn't with the spices in here bought some new spices stuff I don't I hadn't used really and then expanded into rosemary and all that the excited try that William yep throw some salt on their chicken some garlic powder
and a little bit of bells we really saw the pills I think it's gonna be good can't forget pepper of course like my grandfather
salt pepper on a stick nothing else put some pepper on that for him keep all my spices and breakfast and all sorts of stuff these pouches yeah so the new stuff I picked up time Italian seasoning which has marjoram which is in the oregano family garlic and sage rosemary I'm gonna get them in a bag soon gonna try them out like this for now see if I like them I'm my permanent kit it's getting that
won't be long now it's good enough for me I'd eat that right now anything over medium especially when it's nice up fresh-baked one all that fat to render off that's like a meat butter when you get that on this makes the edges especially when the cow is there feeding on grass it's the fat vastly different to when it's cooked about five minutes each side like medium rare guys on medium kick it up a few more minutes that work for you so to finish it off I'm gonna grab a little more embers put it right on top nice better watch out before you know you can have Food Network trying to keep you sponsors and let me cook on an open fire then you know we get something common I'm ready to go all right spin about 1/2 I flip it over that way so that what was in the front it's now I'm back
so just flipping to the side yeah that's looking it's looking pretty money right now
let it rest a minute once these first talk about perfection oh my oh my god I'm gonna cut this up do you stop you guys can all come over here and take your chump thank you sir you wanted more so you want to do some squat medium now isn't even real about you own fine medium rare medium rare looking good man cooked the rest of you guys want a little more
perfect place to cut something well hey I think that that's more tender than a filet you ask more tender than the polite it really is when you cook it on the coals like that it takes you to a whole new level to the quality of your how about a Gerson yeah you don't say it almost tastes more like up later than the dense ribeye it's got that tough LaBelle quality meat bro pull the win you don't need what your box you rock man thanks like a knife is like useless with this it's like yeah good eats man this is for not cutting Pender so juicy took us over for these guys even edge cuts like where it would be pop-up because it was here than you know unifier
right cut it with a fork enough like no yep Nell slam okay this is close to the medium through the nose just cut so easy going Gary you're up attack it [Applause]
good stuff
told you good Oh
yeah just a little bit I only seasoned one side of that that way it still has the natural beef flavor and the natural char on it on the underside while I seasoned that top and then the top sweating and all the sauce was being mixed on top of all the spices when I flipped it over that's it I don't season it again nice and tender so far so good we're impressed so next we're going to work on the bacon arches it's slow cooking right now and we are going to speed them up a tiny bit get some good fat dripping off of those we're going to drop them down I love bacon
it's looking lovely most people don't like the fat ones take your nails but when it's grass-fed with the etic it's actually really helpful for you yeah and delicious too man it's not like chewy or anything but like melts in your mouth drop the bacon down drop this one down as well hey bitch it's funny what we do so many things with that boys become anything else but when you got an upset stomach like acid reflux a lot of people will take like in acids but it's the opposite huh right if you drink apple cider vinegar and stuff yeah that's true so you increase the acidity cause bodies play to create yes exactly so now you create it so does it need to go yep the bottle of regulate it's gonna catch some of that fat coming off the bacon I love - yeah man clams might even be worth taking a slice and chopping it up and put out an acid do it you all right with that Plus this is a whole bunch of meat that we can use whatever we want man we all live like a couple miles from the beach I live one mile from the beach Nick lives very close and he's always getting clams and lobster anything else so brought some clams with him as well but they could still do money in that clam
what he making a soup or stupid no it's just to flavor it so some of this will end up inside the next as they open yeah I'm gonna cook down the garlic and get the garlic and a little bit of butter in the bacon that's one plus those in and I'm gonna try not to add any water unless it starts burning right because I want all that to be juice from the clams that we're all it's a good clam juice [Music]
hey definite what's up with cooking man remember that time for 16 years yeah 16 years ago
yeah and I remember that time last year I helped you cook at that game dinner so you missed a good time it was the same day as though Oh this year's the bush crap show exactly I was so stuffed I left yeah last year I mean me and Nick we're doing all the cooking and I think we cooked like 200 pounds of elk fillets all good was that we read the press right ridiculous dude oh my god frog legs yeah oh my yeah but alligator alligator stuff yeah man so kangaroo yeah there was no it's game day rule again this year yeah we did oh man we had moose this year too nice most delicious all right man looking forward to what you doing with that meat for the bacon those ingredients Rowlands man in the firewood Joe's feeding the fire Gary's running a skillet nice iron pan it's dripping some fat into it he's also gonna put a little bit of oil in it as well the chicken thighs are gonna be flying in there
and almost rocks on the other side I'm gonna be rockin some rocking that was on purpose I'm gonna be rocking some burgers cheeseburgers account there's like 24 I actually have burger buns with me too
I just bought the sliders as like you know all right yeah big burgers and I brought the sliders as like to butter them as like just dinner rolls yeah yeah yep get some stuff going on so make some birdies put them right on the stone right there cute cottage cheese yeah American cheese and dill Havarti magic nice poultry blend all sorts of stuff yeah see my butter is organic my Dutch oven lots of iron pans out here with me a lot ready for the chicken yep I mean those are gonna get yeah well I got five out of a package so far to put a while at this size yeah yeah that all right yeah that's perfect that out over there
yes Bob a knife well per package yeah that's what I get from a package at home to do those look parka you going man yep what's better than one a survival knife to survive on two knives doin eske's alright some of the bakers finished they can use your finishes you know a couple a lot of time depending on where they are in relation to the flames that looks good to me I'm gonna try it out go hot yeah it is hopefully it's good can't beat that no no so girl named Riley yeah that's a serious serious sue approval oh man yeah they starting to get overdone here epic Wow all that bacon mm-hmm that one's smell something burning it's my fingers

I like the limp bacon I just like meat not like I don't like it that way no I used to be I used to be like that I used to only eat crispy bacon and I put heat Derek like nah man limp only my car no way and I sing that with Joe the first time he did it be cannot just like this he gave me a piece that's like oh I'm eating it now was just cooked good but not too much surely my opinion and I was like oh my own little go back oh my god dude that's it he was like I was telling you

I still think what about that fighting okay so the burgers need to turn in foot yeah Wow series [Music]
hook side towards the back is so this side over here was what was facing so I flipped it and I rotated it look at this it's almost like on the list all the chicken it's all sitting there in the juices way yep nice thing about iron pans is that they really retain that heat so took it off the fire and they just bent sizzling away it's still sizzling are you get a host for that skin tight in there yeah will do I know if the camera is picking up as good as we can see it but that's like right on yeah that's coming off looking golden alright I get some key on that happens when you have to do an investor
first
yep you guys have any water you want me to warm up oh yeah go free I'm gonna get at least two cups of tea out of this so I'm gonna put two of these in there [Music]

Akagi throat's a little one put a lot bigger when I run muffled
[Applause]
familes on a how-to side of the lot initially so so much further along it's almost ready for cheese man she costed you blade 30 I like had to literally like I jacket don't you use another thing when I'm not here is the thing is surgically sharp I says would you do better cut with that it's gonna go pretty much better follow me just took her knife look that you just took a knife to come up I just hijackers like yeah but she did I read a red cheetah would this book nice teaspoon and goodness : yeah I kind of got shoulders like you know the tough turns when you try to create this in it and pushing it with your thumb yeah instead of trying to like yeah yeah the best thing with a surgically sharply this you could you don't have to put a lot of pressure laughing so do you rotate in the pan getting real hot on one side and rotate it so it stays evenly heated right across
[Music]
this tool you got a kind of rotatable cheese on that I was ready to go gonna look into that butcher box next this piece honey do have a new hockey mm-hmm
and some tough for you guys and all that if you set this on man fight it won't stop out of control he just took it hmm I'll go thin I can see that be an addiction yeah it's pretty pretty awesome has almost like a blue cheese flavored cheese crumbles to it yeah to big charge this would be a great tongue if you can't in soil to creating the bucket to multiple points cheese yeah hey everybody we're gonna cover it hey go stick a Billy can another check that to you now see that's right I just see another stagnant for it on that side sorry sighs I hate interrupting me buddy whether eating that's like there's no going backwards on that one yeah my uncle eats raw burger I starting out for deep lunge right a little much a little of it you do I get little cash poor thing Simone's making descent like a spear welcome oil I come trip behind I've done everything right on interesting that's what the Indians muffin Indians and like you know the way we used to do it the old days that's the real pilot Heinemann yeah that sides
take off the phone and wants to be the determiner as to whether these are cooked now or not we make the decision we could meet portney at these 21 yeah here you want a piece [Applause]
I'll take some of that chicken looking like it's ready these two pieces here drop it in the dirt bitch thanks for inviting me to this welcome man
all right dude I make crabs on alone I got two big crowds man I think about Dungeness no rock crabs Jonah crabs Darrin thank they're raw crab yeah rock and roll is the thing yeah yeah rock crabs and I got two of them in a net one day same day I got a monster salmon and I boiled those first and man when I cracked those shells and I cracked it upside down so all the butter was inside the shell and I was just dipping each piece on the butter it was like electricity hit my brain because you know I love their surviving a little living under to tarik food orders Oh BAM you know my body's exploded I was like yeah this is like life right here my brain was like running a million all the second fixed-rate again drink that butter I prayed all the meat oh my god dude I love that bird is done where's the bread
stop bread bread goes up watch it watch the first cheeseburger grab it all right Gary
oh that looks magic [Applause]
yeah no problem keep it from falling into the fire when it's gonna probably get out the way thank you sure hope it's good so it tells you guys from yeah awesome
that's what's ailing him tell them new hampshire don't wanna be back areas with some great flavor does it good yeah i mean it looks so fresh you said you get some over there ready for cheese i got one writing machine awesome and this chicken is out of this world is it I got a try piece out of this world this world off the chain Gary you doin on yourself okay now her body really gives up the ACMA extra as I cook to perfection yeah good they can play for two now juicy
do super comfortable messy I was worried about the small piece of being kind of tough its bone in so always has more flavor when it's blowing in there's the chicken golden cuddle bones well we could actually we're gonna have mixed Ebola that's what I do at home yeah no yeah I'm saying you like to do with us
yeah after I get on to room temp I just find the bone piece of cartilage I'll pull it right out and then it's just you know meat and skin ready to go yeah that is like that taste like - it tastes like just bottom on it Wow do that it's so tender I'm just ripping it apart so it tastes like it's kept bottom all over the skin at I thought it was definitely cooked it in whatever oil was it hmm is that crazy at what that's unbelievable hope you get your exciting it's better than the chicken Eccles at home hmm this is just did you cut off your left breast
his lady was looking the night with his golden like juicy moist fatty flavorful buttery perfect seasoning the meat is super white looks like I'm really calling you a cold to take a while right this play is crazy well when we do in the s'mores
hey I might be cold and rainy but I wouldn't know we probably have it about 80 degrees inside this circle well that's the woman yeah another's parachute Jesus migrate he's ready for it [Music]
Walter Galvan to give it a joke you want you on chicken in meat right called big guy called Inigo x1 show it off to the youtubers so he's saying it's edible job [Music]
[Laughter]
so another trick other than rotating pants were kept even heat around this cast-iron skillet basically what I would do is wipe it over into the into the juices and then with the hot side of the pan again great technique
you know just Robot Chicken slept when you cook it and it's cooked in the center
usually on the outside its kind of hard it's like almost like oh yeah all the time you get to sign a picture this is cooked it's like it's so juicy juicy all the way through it because it's organic and the way the fats just for reading mm-hmm may be injected with less yeah what was that injected with anything directly I mean it's like it's not injecting that's probably what the Dylan says but anything that should even yep probably free range to you'll have to exercise and stuff it was happy healthy looking good yeah just finish up this corner and get ready go yeah I can make a cooperate it cooks her a day I think and I didn't make make a toaster today for like five eight days I got eight of them drying at home right now just spit huh yeah is mine looking forward to that look at the juice oh man oh my goodness like the juices are just like the bugs they're just coming out directly behind Mitch Mitch just want to throw the bag over here for Rowan mm-hmm oh my god oh wow good chicken but I like the burger butter dude you guys said this is good that's great oh this is great I can't wait to try one Wow the chicken was good but I prefer the burger who doesn't have Farber all the chicken that's unreal man we're gonna do what slow motion we should do like a time-lapse Mitch like to running through the field like went into the field frolicking eating eating cheeseburgers food sticks Wow that series are good I don't care what anyone says I could eat like seven of those right now no I couldn't I'll try I'll probably get three of them down but eat slow enough yeah exactly if I stretch it out perfectly cooked on a rock yep me neither I always have something put your box for the win guys hooked it up appreciate it
that was an honorable mention for her body
if you move those to my walk my rock if you want
nice nice table more sitting out there not you know it shouldn't be sitting yeah okay
make sure the stop it when kind of died down yep man when you mix meat of this caliber with the quality of cooking styles that we're using it just kicks it up to a whole new not just rocks fried burgers amber amber roiled steaks right on the embers unbelievable
I'm happy well there it is butcher box calm check it out they hook it up huge this meat is out of this world okay annek grass-fed quality is outstanding flavors outstanding I mean just no complaints here now guys delicious there it is we had one complaint almost too much food one complaint I had to loosen my belt hold so good mutate so much food and it was just pop notch it's healthy with pure I am very happy man they're the most great pros yep so again thank you very much both butcher box.com hooking it up we'll see you guys on the next video take care everyone crew buddy and that's a wrap [Music]
