the fire has been put out properly especially on Duff it can smolder it caused a forest fire very simply I've seen it firsthand so i'ma show you how I go about securing fire pit before I leave

the hottest piece right in the middle I mean it's just all our members I'm breaking it up as much as will break up stop stop it's very active a of the wind mix the mud around let's go through take all the things that are that sounds cool all the things on the perf you'll put off to the side feel them see if they're hot you're going to get doused or just take them out of their shells and then like that would miss firewood right here del Sol that make sure it's up put that off of side as well all right so now we're going to do scrape the edge and get past the charred area driving towards the middle

I also dig down I find the bottom if you're not scared about starting a forest fire something wrong that fear has to drive these actions do these things make sure things are out so that makes you clean it's still damp when it rained yesterday

I didn't realize this was here it's like a root structure that's not good I can hold heat one to the touch and pull that up make sure you get behind it all the stuff is bug x close it continue digging cover that the top of side some of these others

very careful hitting rocks my knife it's like a secret tool okay right on I put everything in the middle I can touch all this stuff so sorry safe I'll stop there we're on the edge want it down wipe down the mound of ash numbers in the middle looks a lot around a little bit ground is cold and wet this still feels a little hot in the middle actually

this is what I do though I give it a perimeter make sure i use my hands while I do this because if I to the point where I stopped burning myself and it out a lot more water because if i can get burned it can burn fuel dig down to the same hot spots in there in the middle and right down in there little hot down there I felt it it's not enough to burn but that's what you got up a little bit a little hot right here okay this is the first firing on this pit next time I'm going to just push this out a little bit and just cook right in the middle and by doing that I create like a burn spot just in the middle and my perimeter gets safer every time put a little more water right in the middle this is good to go it's the price hanging out in the woods and out of fire it's imperative that this is safe when I leave
