it's Michener to survival today I'm going to be talking about Japanese and knotweed very very delicious edible where it grows is always a huge thick standard so once you find it it's a huge food source stick around okay let's just cut off this bad boy so as you can see make sure I'm getting in frame with a hollow stem this is where the node begins in the leaf so what you want to do is peel off the fibrous bark which makes bomber cordage by the way pulls off very easily and oops sorry I'm not in frame and long strips so I'm going to go ahead and finish cleaning this off which only be a few seconds here and I'll get back to you guys okay this is what it looks like stripped this is what it looks like on strip all right so as these red flecks just lets you want to get off you just pull it comes off and really long strips okay so I'll show you how I'll show you guys how to eat this okay see you can you know cut it up and put into Bannock or you know basically use it any way that you would an apple but what I like to do is just drop it up hmm just like apples salads our delicious

now he's thick ones are kind of feverish so usually I spit out the cellulose not all that keeps them most of it oh man love this stuff mm-hmm okay so let's chop on let's go crazy

very very very delicious stuff now the younger ones like these they have much less like fiber like cellulose to them so you won't have all that fiber you just swallow everything now when you chop it up it is kind of liquifies I mean this one stock it's a decent amount of food you know take how many stocks are behind me 60 you know seminal leaves

BUTT STUFF not a big fan of eating the leaves by themselves can be done but this don't seem to have that juice that like life to them all right so anyways this is Japanese knotweed and it's a very delicious very plentiful don't you find it meat a long time and they'll grow faster and you can eat them so give it a try get them wrong I will try to get the best way to eat elbows that way all the enzymes and nutrients are intact you know when you cook any quick vitamins and enzymes and things it changes them the chemistry sometimes it kills them so I was trying to find edible so you can eat raw off possible but I've cooked this stuff before to put in backs and man is that's a good banner let's be mentioning survival appreciate your views the comments just for

we'll get to check out our website and it's a viable calm I'll see in the next one

take care

you
