I do them this is Mitch of the native survival school today we're going to sharpen some broadheads stay tuned okay first thing is my straw go to my belt go to a tree branch looks like that all right so this what we're starting with huge birds on here I mean this edge on both sides it just absolutely trashed looks like a saw blade it's all serrated and beating up so the machinery that they made this with just absolutely destroyed that edge so this is a prime candidate to get it back to perfect condition all right so I'm going to just drop this blade pull tight on my belt when you go down inside

take that burr off well what I'm doing it and slowly rotating starting here and a tip I slowly work my way to the back edge do that work

I've done that for a few minutes on this edge right here I'm gonna flip it over so I'm still doing the same net let's do the other side same process

moving over

now I'm doing all the way closer back okay so quick comparison this is the edge I just dropped I'm sure you can tell the difference compared to this edge which is still very ragged I'm going to strop the other edge I'll show you the next step alright that's looking better it's going to the next step so the next step is taking my sharpening stone this is the fall in live in dc4 I take the course edge first and then I finish up on the fine edge I'm going to lay my broad head on the stone and I'm going to slowly angle it until the bevel disappears because there's a black shadow on the stone that disappears once your bevel is perfect right there another light circles check my bevel off and make sure it's perfect

I think this waterfall over there yelling hey we got somebody over there getting their kit ready flip over the edge the opposite side of the same edge at a light touch and small circles I'll flip it over okay so I just sharpen this edge now I'm gonna shop in this edge I put my stone over so I'm not going into so exact spot I think it's exactly the same now I'm going to change to the fine edge of my stone the exact same process light circles light touch check my bevel make sure it's perfect I'm gonna do the other bevel okay there it is nice shot broad head sharp edges can easily carve up my fingernail definitely cut game that's how I sharpen my hunting ground heads just been mentioned in survival school appreciate you've used cotton sports in the next one
