Oh

Huisman a survival we're going to go over a damage assessment of past tapping that's been done on some of these trees cuz you see I'm currently typing this tree roughly the same height that is my current app is an old tap that's it that's a scar that's the damage right there it's all it has that's only two years old these guys are actually hard to find on the tree now I tap these same trees that's why I'm able to find that scar okay so here's another pass scar right here you can see the tree healed itself right up and Chloe didn't kill the tree I tapped it again this year and it's still producing SAP you can tap trees over and over what it does is it cuts off the vascular tissues in the tree so the particular vein that I hid in here isn't running anymore that's why I've rotated around so after you rotate around a tree a couple times then you have to move on to another tree you might also notice that there's a gap in between here and my next so they're not side by side I want to make sure there's plenty of room for the SAP to run up in the tree okay has a tree that I've tapped two years ago that I didn't tap this year least not yet Minister scar right there so as you can see heels right over no problem at all so as you can see the damage is very minimal on these trees
