Oh

Oh

are you doing mrs. Menschen with the needed survival school today we're going to continue with our series of getting in shape on the trails stay tuned as always I'm going to do some walking and light jogging

start around it's nice added element let's keep going I don't consider myself in good shape that could be much better shape this is what I'm doing about it so just marked out about 30 paces about 90 feet scratch two lines in the dirt it's pretty flat I've also gone walk down and kicked all the rocks off the trail so I can try to limit the chance of me rolling an ankle things like that as intense

it's good stuff oh yeah

no Holly have 40 pounds since rock it's right not a lot of weight as I practice these get easier for me i'm going to add weight whoo check this out possible burka just a couple sprints nasty hurry yeah I think I'm running right around 40 you said it stepped on my strap it's going to pop my cam a little bit come on that Harris 42.3 pounds so I tell saying you know I'm at 40 pounds right now but my goal is not to build a sprint run jump push ups and 40 pounds I want to be able to do it with much more than that 50 60 70 80 pounds running you know jump in push-up Sprint's inclines all that so this is not I'm at right now it's doing sprints trying to work on making this easy to carry so 40 pounds there's like 20 pounds you know working out like this on trails and wilderness it's not about looking good none of that stuff it's about getting it done and doing good work and stuff what you want to do when I get out here strap on a rock anyway as long as you're working yourself hard and work it you know I chose 40 pounds because it's not an insanely heavy weight and usually my rock is between 30 and 40 pounds so I want to be able to carry what I normally carry easier better more strength and more power more agility and more stamina endurance to some inclines

to an inclined to declines like that it's really great changing the angle of the resistance so I'm going down a hill I have to stop 40 pounds I'm falling down the hill with every step and they use different muscles to do that compared to pulling up a pack up a hill so now I'm going up a hill and my angle my legs my calves everything's different and the weight exchange is different so it uses my body differently I think finding the variances like that is very important when working out so that's being on a flat surface the whole time you know not being a shape it's me is very dangerous inside the capability of being in shape one day my life might depend upon my fitness or I loved ones my wife a child friend who knows and I won't be capable of putting out the workload that's necessary getting a shape is hard work always has been right nice to play basketball the suicides that they used to make us run from brutal but to be honest I played a little football as well not a big deal younger kid type of stuff you know always organized though I was a running back yeah more running let's kick her to those suicides on the field where so much worse in the basketball court basketball was like high-octane running with no gear super speed super fast lots of cuts want to be really agile be able to turn on a dime cut exact opposite direction instantly football was the opposite it was like cranking down a field with a bunch of weight on your back and you have to be able to at any moment explode with energy whether it's hit well it's a Dodge whatever the cases so i think that taught me a lot about fitness because I know I'm in terrible shape compared to how I used to be terrible shape 40 pounds on my back I'm getting tired doing sprints and running you know one day my life might depend on it I'm not gonna let that happen my body is strong enough healthy enough to work out

so I'm gonna let Mitch with the native survival school see you the next one take care
