i doing mention the name survival school going to throw a quick challenge out today it's allowable community the Uniting feathers this thing's kind of kind of garbage actually I don't think it's a very good one let's see what happens alright so challenge is to make some curls jump to be stuck on the stick and pull them off I'm gonna pull them off actually and I'm gonna put them on stop doesn't matter what it is I'm going to ignite it with star on the car driver willing to give this shot make a couple curls stick is not a good one let's see if I can what I can get out of it though it's not a good one because it wants to torque and it kind of crumbly the key is you want to make a couple small delicate ones like this one make a few of those that can be a challenge in and of itself so it's also good to take a tip of the feathers because they're real delicate on the tip so I have a bunch here and a real delicate

probably all I need to do I don't need any more than that this is how I lit all my fires when I was surviving Vancouver Island it's a remarkable skill to have i can make a ton more with this like to use a spine of a knife for this my Mora doesn't have a shop spine I have a plethora knives sharp spines this happens to be an LT right genus all right let's give it a shot Star Wars actually very new we've been used like once then we have it it's very simple to do but I'm always surprised to find out that not too many people can do it it's incredibly valuable in a survival situation incredibly valuable when you can't find tinder anywhere no matter what because it's crazy raining or you know you're in a rainforest everything is damp rotten whatever it is well if you have an axe you split stuff down get to the dry inside very common technique wait you don't have any tender so that's what this comes into play if you have a feller odd it can make tinder from the inside dry inside of the wood that you're using to make all your tinder kindling everything else so I can fell right on it put a feather stick on and off you go it's a very simple way to make fire it's incredibly reliable I made fire every single day whenever I wanted to with that method in in a rainforest I mean everything was just arraigned twice a day everything was damp everything was brutal and it got the job done for me so it's very valuable indeed what's cool too is that which will do on another challenge you can also use this as a tinder bundle if you are going to use the bow drill or a flint steel as I mentioned the native out of school I want to see everyone in the community give this a shot if you already know how to do it let's make a video anyways it's always good to practice skills especially when they're very valuable skills like this one as always put the link down below in the comments and now we can all check it out go check on website nice wobble calm and as always draw the outdoors and enjoy making photo sticks lighting them on fire with a simple photo rod take
