I do this is misha the native survival school I have a fish fillet today I'm going to show you how i use my bushcraft knife to skin it instead of using a fillet knife

make a little bigger than that all I'm doing is taking a little bit of meat off the end of the fly that way I can hold on to it you can see coming right off little hard on the log but can be done all right so as the skin there's the flu okay so that's how I use a more just a woods knife belt knife to fillet a fish certainly gets the job done so you can see sure nice fillet they're being able to use your common woods knife that you have on your belt all the time for all these different tasks instead of having all these specific tools it's kind of a good little skill to fall back on you know if you can get your knife to be the jack of all trades it allows you to to kind of stretch out and need to less equipment it's been Mitch from the survival school I'm sure to check out a website AS VAL calm as always enjoy the outdoors

you
