a submission in survival so we're gonna make some pine-needle tea ah has some snow on it delicious take a couple of these

I love it put tip whenever it's snowing or raining fooled your blanket over that way Steve nice and dry boy fine I'll cover the snow and rain or whatever just do it whenever I get up yeah all right very simple stuff some water

and my pine I like to use full twigs holding the needles for a couple of reasons first one is you can pull it out and all the needles in one shot you don't worry about filtering it and all that madness you don't worry about chopping it up and cutting in all that you still get all the benefits you don't have to chop it up I you too steep it a little bit longer we'll talk about that in a minute what I look for in the needles how I know it's done but that's pretty much it I just put the twigs with the needles right in there I like to keep the twigs well at least sticking out of the corner so I can pick them out now bring it right up into my kohls my embers

on cover the front my twigs are still sticking out the back cover it near the front that way no ash gets in my drink you can see my twigs are right here alright so I'm going to let this go for 10 minutes or so maybe 15 minutes depends on how hot my fires I'm going to build it up a little bit in a few minutes speed up the process but what I'm looking for is to not boil it want to make an infusion so I want steaming in there see some steam coming out that's good I don't want to boil it and when I'm looking for is the needles to have lost their brilliant green color so they kind of become like a like a pale ish kind of Blanche look to them they almost look a little bit of a little bit of brown maybe so when they look blanched when they look like they've lost their their their life really then you know that that your your pine needle tea is done oh yeah nice and blanched I'm going to pull that off let us start cooling okay so what I mean you can pull them all right out and you can see how they're just lifeless you know they've lost all their green all right let's get a taste death now I love that ah
