hey doing this is mitchell the native survival school today we're going to put together a wool blanket roll sack stay tuned

Oh

roll sack can be used to carry kit will sack could be made out of anything will blanket a sheet a tarp ground cloth hide sewn together let your imagination run wild basically it's a backpack that's not a backpack it's just a blanket so the role sack just boils down to laying out your material whatever you choose to use I want a little blanket and putting the gear that you want to carry offset to one side and you roll it in then you have to cinch it tight a couple places in the middle the ends and tie the ends together that's all T deuces down too so walk you through it backwards and tie the ends together just with piece of paracord

I just have a bushcraft strap since in the end just a buckle onee-chan one in the middle now it's important when you buckle this up to have the buckle in the middle on the opposite side so doesn't dig in to your shoulder this will be the inside that's right on my shoulder so we're buckle is on the opposite side in the middle my recorder bien you can see have a bunch of gear in this rule sack I have a sleeping bag good thick sleeping bag canteen like drink pouch food pouch a rain jacket green pants tarp round that first aid kit mugs dropping stones it's a bunch of stuff in here because i'm doing an overnight so I have my overnight kit in this setup all you have to do just put what you want to hold towards the edge of the blanket roll it in grab a bushcraft strap tie it up cinch it down yo side third one instead of buckling it here I'm going to buckle it underneath last thing I use is just a piece of paracord taut line hitch so I can make it smaller if I want put it over it cinch it down pull it over in the middle use the power cord tie the two ends together I just use the tag left over square not done up

throw it on get it comfortable ready to go so without a rucksack I'm still holding a bunch of gear from the bunch of gear sleeping bag all sorts of stuff so obviously this isn't a preferred way to carry gear I would rather have a backpack but if I don't have one it's just a good tool to throw in the toolbox just to know just in case for whatever reason I have gear that I want to carry I don't have any way carrying it like to find out will blanket a sheet of tarp where the case is i have to carry the things and there's no other way to get a backpack which is good to know that i can just roll it up cinch it and throw it on my shoulder and it will get the job done so let's have been Mitch with the native survival school be sure to check out our website in survival calm and it's always enjoy the outdoors you
