well as Perry wilderness innovation we've had several requests for more information about our off-road survival kit so this is just a real quick little run-through of what's contained in the kit so you can be informed on that the kits in a corduroy bag many different color combinations of the universal digital camo all the bags have d-rings double D rings on them carrying handle also slots in here for horizontal straps to strap to handle bars of an ATV or a mountain bike we also have a configuration available to allow this whole thing to mount in this fashion right here on the roll bar of a Jeep or or other off-road vehicle we've tried to configure the bag so it's a usable in as many ways as possible however you need to to work it it's a closed by a draw string of course we the drawstring can be used for many purposes one of which would be for making a bow drill as an alternative method of building fire it also has our standard wilderness innovation fire starter kit which is a magnesium bar with a shock cord lanyard striker and and also has kinder in there this is got d-ring on it for attachment a belt loop and all that sort of thing that's our standard fire starter kit that's included also we have a nalgene bottle and a nalgene bottle it contains the bulk of the kit and we chose a nalgene bottle because we've used them for for since the mid 80s and have had very good luck with the nalgene brand and we want something reliable for our survival kits it's got the wide mouth opening inside are the contents I'm going to just quickly go through and pull them out so you can see them 20 feet of additional paracord seven strands inside of a nylon jacket other videos tell a lot more about it than what we can tell here also inside of the kit is our shock corded lanyard at the clip attachment for the Swiss Army knife miss a genuine Swiss Army knife this is not an imitation not a cheap cheap knockoff or anything like that if your knife is on the primary tools that you want to have in a survival situation you want to have the quality of Swiss Army in our kits it's got a very nice saw blade in it as well as all the other blades on the hiker camper series so that's included in the kit also in the kit originally we carried this was branded by Silva compass it's now available generically as well but it's a nice little option it's a whistle compass just a general direction finding a magnifying lens it's got a little lanyard for hanging around your neck and it's got a handy thermometer also on the back of that one of the key features of our kit is one thing that I always hated about the little kits in the bottle now all that sort of thing is you just got a boatload of things just all dumped and crammed inside of a bottle anytime you need to get something out you just dig them through stop dumping things everywhere and then you got to try to cram it all back in there so we try to solve that problem by the use of tabs and what tabs are very simply is just some just some tab material heavy plastic with a see-through stretchable fabric front and back and you can stock that up with your own items the kit does come stocked up with a basic first aid kit and which has your pain relievers pain reliever tablets burn cream and antibiotic cream that cortisone cream etching we've got we've got the mole skin in here case you get blisters while you're hiking around on your feet to kind of take care of that we've got fish hooks in here we've got some spare tab in here for your own use whatever else you'd like to put in there got a sewing kit we've got a thin LED flashlight which is a very nice very small but very bright well unit works for about 20 hours on the batteries that come in it we've got another tab in here with you know some additional first data eight items gauze gauze strips folded up inside of here band-aids all that sort of thing antiseptic wipes that sort of stuff also in the kit we have eight feet of duct tape and you know who could survive without some duct tape multiple uses for that just use your imagination or watch some of our other videos as they come out also inside the kit we have our standard issue emergency space blanket which of course has many protective uses and all of these things we'll cover more in detail in other videos we've got a patch of plastic here three feet by three feet for solar solar water still or sink or other many other uses actually possible for that we also have a poncho rain poncho in here for emergency use and we have a medical tape for taping on your gauze bandages or actually many other uses are possible with that and a little smile tube of chapstick case you get some sun damage on the lips or other parts of your face or whatever that can be handy to have and once again all that fits inside this now Jean brand bottle 32 ounce bottle very tough very durable and the last item in the kit which we really like is a stainless steel cup and been using this for the last three days on a campout and works very nice cooking it set it right on the right on the coals in the fire or you can set it against the fire whatever cook in here soups stews find some herbs or whatever put it here and steep up a little bit of herbs or whatever for a soothing tea many many uses we think this is very practical a very nice kit for use for anybody that goes back in the ad in the backcountry and their off-road vehicle or mountain bikes or anything like that so hope you enjoy this video look forward for some more videos where we'll show some more detail of the kit and some of the fastening options to various things you know like our Jeep our Jeep mount a TV mount and mountain bike mount that all are available with this kit so thank you
