wilderness and innovation real survival kids survival shelter simplifying survival at wilderness innovation calm hello perry peacock with your wilderness quick tip today I'm just up doing some little recons in the afternoon here quite a bit just trying to explore some little nooks and crannies and some unmarked done unhacked trails and different things just making some notes of plants animal life stuff like that for future just for future notes I want to go quick and light when I do these sort of things so I I like to take my survival kit and whenever I come up on place like this I'm going into some unknown areas and some places where it's not likely that other people are going because there's no trails and a lot of it so so I just I like to carry my a wilderness innovation off-road survival kit with me and you know it's if you've seen before it does come with some d-rings top and bottom on the thing here and normally I have a shoulder strap and today I get ready to go and I'm like where's my dang shoulder strap and I I forgot it so I'm like well I want to take my survival kit and fire starter and Cameron a couple things and I thought I just saw this bungee cord sitting there and I thought well it's got a hook on it I just hook it through the d-ring and and shoulder carry this thing with that so I grabbed this piece of shock cord off my truck and just hook that down through my d-ring top and bottom here I tell you what actually that's pretty comfortable I maybe I even like this better than a shoulder strap and when you're walking downhill and you know it kind of got that bounce and stuff this thing absorbs that you really don't feel you don't really feel the stuff you carry and so anyway it's just a use for for a piece of bungee cord shock cord off your truck or whatever if you want to do some shoulder carry us some light items or whatever that's just another resource so you know that's just so that's why this is just a it's just a little quick tip because it's just a little idea so anyway you know think about that sometime you use some shock cord or bungee cord whatever you want to call it off your the or whatever as a shoulder carry strap so very peacock with wilderness innovation with your quick tip of the day have a great day bye me
