this is our wilderness innovation fire starter kit in the kit here's the contents we've got our magnesium fire starter stick with striker that one's 28 years old just to show you can start thousands of fires with it it's a roll of wax paper it's enough to start over 150 fires we use it to concentrate the shavings so you don't need as many of them and it gives you a flame that's a fire starter stick there that will use if you have some more difficult fires to start longer burn time we take the wax paper just tear off a little piece of it and then we form the piece just kind of fold it over and it kind of form it into kind of a cone shape because what we want to do is scrape the shaving so they collect in the in the cone shape of the wax paper and that puts them all together so that makes it very easy to strike a spark into there and to get a fire started a flame going alright we've shown in photographs and stuff how to get everything prepared for using your magnesium fire starter and we showed getting the little wax paper scrapings into there so all I do is lay that in there like that then you can just take you some grass or whatever that some dry tinder and just kind of lay around it like that I've got a few twigs here ready and all that sort of thing so all that remains is just to use this other side right here the striker bar side which just like that throw spark down into here and then we're good to go there we go now the grass is cut we go I've got a bunch of whoops twigs and stuff I didn't mean to get aggressive with them but that'll work
