hey wassup Turtles it's creek here but black outdoors Stoney and I have just finished filming for the day we were now just wandering around just enjoying the beautiful spring day we came across resource and it is is wild onion garlic shallot all aneta genus Allium I'm not sure specifically what species it is but I know there's wild onion in Pennsylvania or / garlic and as long as it has that onion sent it's safe it's safe to eat but if it doesn't if it looks like it if it doesn't have an onion Stanton it's really not I guess edible but nonetheless I found some while we were walking on the south side it's a will won't drain but there's definitely moisture that holds here I'm just I can tell by the other vegetation around and if you come to the ground you can see first of all what I have in my hand and I dug out but down here this is the bottom the bulb its Bob and it will sort of self-propagating out I guess rhizomes creating other bulbs next to it which can then put up vegetation instead of me VI cross-pollinated or anything and there's other ones but this is what it looks like in the ground comes up a lot of Elam's leaves one house that like a classic curl to it depending that's all this happens go really up with this house it's like Cyril I just used a stick to dig around it and maybe went down maybe my finger is this farm is probably covered in the actual substrate not just the leaf litter on top of on top of the ground but just dug around and make sure that i could get underneath inc kind of push all the bulbs up because if you prematurely try to pull this out when you don't have enough soil taking it away from the root system and that you'll just pull it off in the ball will stay no just get all the fleshy parts of it which you still could eat but the money's down here in the bulb you can eat them raw cook cook them really easy on the fire just a cool little resource to find some flavoring you know scavenge down here but just always be be aware when you're taking resources from the force that you can be is I guess it's gentle as you can and you know have at least amount of impact on the resource is just the just to keep it pretty if you're in highly used areas and you know just search and respect to the force but it's spring now excited to see all these new plants counting up all these new resources you see more videos as we highlight the resources that come back to life or come back from dormancy but anyways this is Creek signing out with black outdoors later turtles
