Video Transcription
and if you wanted to put another row in here if the American beginning of the video I chose four equal lengths of portage and to make these little holes or diamonds or squares smaller by adding another piece a few hundred five you would make this smaller that's where as where the carry comes in but for definitely works and slowly but surely keep making their way up or at the top this is a nice little project to do here I've got music on the background talk radio movie you don't care about what's happening always want to listen to something that's nicest to be around people and I've good conversation when you're doing like this someone else is doing a craft you're doing this really good conversations with people obviously its I'm talking to you and Stoney's is sitting here point the camera I'm sure he's having conversations in his head right thing about raise money for supper later
nope don't care he doesn't eat amazing breatharian anything he ingest is the hair of this earth somehow just keep sticking with really low amounts to energy let's get little crazy sitting artist park is so human out you see once I put a little bit of pressure or I started start to Ford open a little bit once there's weight in this and now it's kind of crunched on itself but when you I'd opened this up and push you can see how it's going to kind of spread and where if it not even or not where it kind of pours the one side or the other but like I said you do not have to be perfect with this but I hear that that's your personality by all means you know take the time make it look pretty as you can even as you can it's already gonna be a long video so far not too many critters of seat refuge under our tarp I'm alright with that and this is the tarp behind me there's a this is where I put the patch in my chart we've been rained on for a while now probably good half-hour and so far no drips no leaks feeling really well really pleased with it so let me just pull this tight real quick and sure get the general get the general look now of what this is gonna look what its gonna look like no prob probably had some leftover paracord but that's alright
keep working probably one or two more rows
and when you get to the end if you have leftovers that's up to you if you want to cut it off or not what's great about this is if you're carrying this into the bush you're gonna use it I'm okay with having a little bit of strands hanging off of this at the end if it's not on me even looking because that little bit of extra paracord you know could actually make a huge difference in something I was trying to do if I needed to dissemble this I'd be assemble this dissemble I'd have that little bit of extra maybe the extra foot added up on all these will make you know make this use completely useful or not next day at this point I guess I can take off the bottle like I was saying if you wanted to cut this off at the end what I'll show it when you get to the end you could but like I said if you were to cut it down the length what are you gonna do with like five inch you know strand of the paracord if you trim this off to make it look neat I don't know it's up to you obviously personal preference but it won't bother me so much there's some things I want clean and neat you know I can't let it go but this isn't one of them I'm okay with having a little bit of extra pair cut on the top or hanging down I'll just leave it through here and the length which I did my arm lengths kind of stretched out that's really gonna depend to when you're kind of the width birth of your bottle the height of it all that kind of come into play on how much you actually need to start with so if you said there's some trial and error you're probably going to have some left over regardless but that's up to you if you want to cut it off or keep it get in there mister eyeballing it now make sure I go my Nazis gonna finish this row and I make sure pretty good now at this point I guess I really could stop as you can see they're all pretty much at the shoulder I got a lot I got a lot left over here and like I said I could cut this off first time I made it I didn't nearly have this much left there I might have just made these knots a little bit farther apart but what I can do I'll just start maybe I may just bring these clothes me I'm just doing start that I'll do one more I'll do one more tight overhand how about that I want to take this off now I'm gonna take off my fault line cousin has a brace I'm sure we're still holes aren't too big at the bottom test holds worked out pretty well just using that little ring of paracord and I was trying to say earlier let's see if this isn't gonna open but this opening if you're not conscious and you're making these knots too far apart you can get a hole very easy that this will slip through so you're just something to keep in mind do another overhand up here one more row over hands make it a little bit tighter on itself
and please share your experiences if you have method you've tried this maybe some ideas on how I could finish this make a little bit cleaner neater at the top of this extra paracord maybe a couple daisy chain somewhere this or that all means let me know leave a comment alone as much as I can no birds chirping yet but it's slowing down and it's getting later but more and I'll call the structure of it good then after this I get this good to where I want it I'm going to show you how to do you adjust the bolt excuse me the adjustable shorter sling which basically just comprises of a double fisherman on so now longer piece of cordage which and the double fisherman's knot two of them allows you to adjust the length of the rope or or the sling there you want to call it and that has a lot of applications as well just the theory behind why that works and what you can use out if you just want to adjust the bowl strap
one more cut starting to fall asleep all right foot in case occurred all right there we go and it's unfinished quote stages like I said look at all this extra you know I could just cut this off right here burn them have it clean and neat but also show you just own one could just weed these down through here because honestly I don't like throwing away paracord I don't like cutting off this a little bit of strands cuz they're not gonna have a you know really a life after this so just keep it on it I'll do that I could even tie some knots around these now I'm thinking about I could even tie these to this and I'm keeping me to keep the structure as if I just wanted to do something like this just thinking about this on the fly right now at this extra I'll just continue this down then I can keep this Parrikar on it paracord will be out of the way and I have the length if I need to take this apart and then I could if I needed a long piece of cord by having these four smaller ones I can use the sheets been double sheets been Weaver's been where we want to call that and have a you know a length of paracord that's pretty strong if I need it yeah I'm happy with this I like how this is staying out of the way now but it's also kind of keeping with the integrity of the holder all right so you get the idea and that's just one idea right there and I'll just continue this whole way down I can maybe put a reef knot square knot in there just change my legs I can't feel my all right so now the next step is for the shorter lost in the whoops take this one apart on this one a little out of sorts cuz that we had the run under this tarp to finish this video but that's alright so I have a length of cordage here that there's one arm length and then plus inside another foot and a half two feet probably and this works out pretty well you could probably been have it a little bit longer but I think this will work really well um so the third behind this then I'm going back to my bottle and I need to attach this to my bottle so I'm gonna thread this through basically two sides and since I kind of weaved on this side my extra length I'm gonna start with here one end of it and I'm gonna take my other and that's unoccupied right now and go the opposite side of the water bottle and put it under here and then if you follow me up up here let me just get this in my hand and I'll give it to you but basically right now I have it doubled over on itself and I'm going to tie the fisherman knob you can see we see where it's kind of connected to the bottle itself alright so now to do the double fisherman's I'll just do it down here cuz I got my I got a working in here it's gonna be backwards and some fate since I'm facing the camera but basically I haven't done a video on how to do this but I'm gonna tie it around I'm just gonna do these quick reference the video if you need to and I'll grab my other I'm working in sort of in Reverse it and the best way to learn any not hitch loop repetition repetition repetition there we go and what makes this adjustable is that these slide on this at length here which I could stand out but basically these both slide you see the distance between these two right now right I'm going to slide them closer to each other it's gonna make this longer it takes out there and it makes it long or excuse me makes it this is a shortest it's going to be a close as they are the shorter it's going to be and I'll slide them apart and it makes it longer as you can see get that angle side moving farther apart makes this longer you get the idea if this isn't clear I can just do a separate video on specifically how to make a shorter sling but this is it in a nutshell paracord water bottle holder this is correct signing out back outdoors later Turtles
