palio deadly turtles so uh stony and I are headed out today to just kick it in the woods

we're just headed out to a another cold mountain stream as a theme with us Roy we like hanging out Mountain sex to the cold try order so we're checking out different one I don't know we've ever filmed a video out here I think we have it's been a long time even since I've been here so plan for today is do some still photography made for lucky I'll get stone you two cell phones free to talk on camera see and it's packed today well this is a fly-fishing only stretch of this mountain stream we actually really want to do some fly-fishing the reason we have it done it's been pretty much my fault we have some local boys who offered to teach us some fly-fishing bring us around the area so hoping that works out this year and I hope they can come out with us and teach us some fly-fishing no cameras back in my hand there's old sony you tell the cameras in my hand because focus is off just any why don't you come out here and film too often little thing called road noise a lot of road noise out here but dang look how beautiful it is right you're the lens cap hmm alright what you're seeing here is a farm-raised trout night yeah it's beautiful you want to watch me fall over the hill trying to get a picture that damselfly sure do nice hey Stoney walk through all that all that high grass and plants that tell me there's any sneaks in there Oh came across this trash dump and it looks old it doesn't look like someone who's came out here and party for the night and threw a bunch of a bunch of trash but what this reminds me of is when I was working as an archaeologist we come across historic sites historic sites which is just old trash old enough trash to your considered archaeological and this is what this reminds me of we had nice reference interior when I was working for the Forest Service we will come across historic trash dump like this I'm assuming it's a story of stuff doesn't doesn't look new at all but we look for maker's marks and we had a reference reference guide to the date of when that maker's mark was in production the company where they're from sort of the type of manufacturing they would make the glass which could help identify but either way it's still an eyesore right now if you're watching this part pause the video does a favor go look at that golocal clorox was a making stuff in brown glass jars okay that makers mark wonder how old it is suni has little mountain goat legs what's that mythical creature that's top half as human bottom half is goat someone jilat that's stone in a nutshell you just want to head through all the thick stuff until we get back down to the stream is yeah I think so all right let's do it go ahead don't scratch the camera lens quick don't scratch the camera lens Creek

alright I feel the need to catch you up a little bit i'm not sure exactly what you just watched because i was running the camera mostly stony was doing his photography he's walking out over here i have to look up the settings don't change but i was running the camera because i want to get more comfortable with the settings and using our 7d I feel like it was just a hodgepodge of me just getting frames I'm not sure if you can tell or not though I am wearing a new bag today and that's one of the great things about blackout is that I'm constantly testing new gear and I get to see a lot of gear that's on the market and the reason why I do so many gear reviews and we do so many gear reviews it's for you the viewer and the consumer of course I like gear I like spending a lot of time outdoors I know how important gear can be but as an individual I really don't care about having this much gear at my disposal I like having what i need and just using it i do think the gear reviews are important because like i said as a consumer I know how frustrating it is and finding a good quality video with good camera quality for a product can help you make a better informed decision I want a potentially expensive gear purchase but ultimately this is what it's all about being out in nature using your equipment this is what i love this is what i've done at times my life professionally being out in the forest and being outside and we want to bring that type of content in the sense of showing you us being out more because today is a day that happens all the time that you won't see or wouldn't have saw in the past we just wouldn't have filmed it but we want to bring you along more and do the beautiful scenery justice I don't say beautiful a lot but that's exactly the word and how I feel when I come to the forest everything is just so beautiful and it's the force that goes without saying well I think we're going to do now is just probably keep heading down the stream heading down the creek filming anything we find of entry and just keep enjoying the day 5-point challenge can you ID this tree it's pretty hot and humid today more human that in his hot but that's pretty characteristic of Pennsylvania summers we just been walking along the street more I've just been filming some more b-roll or just some shots of stony doing his thing I think I want to get my feet wet I think I want to get in the water just a little bit I know it's gonna be cold whoo

I can't feel so good Oh

my legs already know I can't feel my leg moving through the water really I can't feel the current on my leg the water was cold I was right that's one time today that's good how long was I in a minute maybe I couldn't you already feel my legs I already got numb so didn't take long to achieve but I wanted didn't see any fish around my feet I was hoping maybe to get that whole hippo action go in the water stand still with the fish come up and clean all the clean all the dirt off my feet and stuff all the dead skin hey you know hippos other other animals do it well I'm letting my feet dry thought it'd be a good opportunity to drop a waypoint in the gps I think would be a nice spot to come and fly fish it looks pretty open the waters calm nice little Bank to sit on but before I drop a waypoint I think I left the track log on so i think i'm recording a track i want to go in there and turn that off so marking a waypoint right now just by hitting mark and cell phones are nice because most of them have gps features without cell service so you can if you preload map stuff like that you can still use them which is really nice they just don't have the durability of an actual standalone gps unit right now on this waypoint says 456 feet above sea level that's low i remember i lived in flagstaff which was 7,000 feet it is so hot and humid right now when I lived in the West I did not miss the humidity not one bit basically we've just been hanging out hanging out by the water where I got in let my feet dry packed up and we just been hiking around getting hot sweating just take in the scenery you know kind of one last time getting close to the car you can probably hear some road noise let us know what you think of this video if you want to you know come along more impromptu videos on our part let me know what you think so next video peace out Turtles
