hey wassup turtles creek here black outdoors on my walk right now in the woods i found a plant that I want to share share with you it's a it's a spring plant that's coming up it's in the lily family and its common name sure if I can pronounce I think it's the person's name is pry who probably named it Cecile it's a bell word but it's a lily family it's growing all down here to Spring ephemeral it's coming up now Sony if you want to try to find a shot find the plant and I didn't know what this flower was when I first saw it out here today so I consulted a Audubon Society field guide and this is just to the north american wild flowers but if you're interested in in wild flowers or plants in general you can find potentially more specific field guides to your actual location where you're living that might help a little bit better than a wide a wide one such as like just the north american wild flowers but specifically when i first saw this plant looking at these leaves they really reminded me of another genus in in the lily family fritillaria and that's what kind of tipped me off as a cleared of thinking this was a lily where these leaves at first because they have these low hanging flowers that droop and does and and as I'm as the observer I'm looking down to plant the floor this is in flower but the flowers opposed to a lot of flowers will poke up for the pollinator you know they'll show up so if I'm looking for two ID things you see flowers pointing up but this one's pointing down so it's a lot harder to see that this plant is actually in flower if you don't know what you're looking for and the genus is this is a oval area and the species I'll try to pronounce it correctly it might be Cecilia folia Susilo folia something like that it's a cool cool spring plant really i really like lilies like everything pretty much in the family they really look different as a whole different types of them but if you like more there'll be more spring flower videos coming up scratch signing out black outdoors later turtles
