hey what's up turtles it's Kirk here with black outdoors and right now I'm going to show you how to attach two pieces of cordage together if you had two small pieces and you didn't want to cut down maybe a large piece you had to size or you just want to you know used to string a bunch of smaller pieces together to create a ridge line or anything really wanted a clothesline i'm going to show you two different variations the prints the same thing to join two separate pieces of cord together that are strong and the first one is going to be called the sheets bend and the next one be the weavers but right now i'm going to show you the sheets been get a better angle for you to see it being done so in my left hand i'm just going to start with this tan piece of paracord i'm going to make a little loop and my right hand i'm going to take this black piece of paracord stick it up through the loop coming out like this grab it down go around the sleep in my left hand now I have it like that I'm going to slide it under black so we pull it together that's the sheets bend let's do that one more time create a loop in my left hand or more your right whichever whichever way you're comfortable with so it's coming down under both up and under just black through one more time and then I'll show you the one little one little extra step to make this much stronger called the weavers let's do the sheet Bend one more time make the loop up under give yourself a little extra to work with come behind the loop and then under ok now the modification to make this stronger is I'll show you from the beginning so I have my loop taking the other piece of cordage I want attached come up under same step wrap it around same step but instead of going right under and pulling this tight like I had been I'm going to wrap it around the loop one more time and come back down under then go under the black again and this is can be used for load-bearing very strong very very very strong this is the weavers and sure that Weaver's been one more time it is cold out here right now and you can see definitely my finger dexterity is dropping fast since I've had my gloves off it's a great day to shoot not videos alright let's do the weavers been one more time loop created in my left hand going up behind down under the black and around the loop again and come up under and through the black again tighten it down and that's the Reavers been Creek signing out back outdoors later turtles
