good day Turtles this is creek with blackout outdoors today I'm going to be doing a video on how to start a fire I've done a video already on this tinder I've used this is a cotton ball with some alcohol hand sanitizer this is some bark I've gathered from a tree I have these small pieces of hemlock and two branches of hemlock and finally this tinder urgh kindling that I baton down of beech tree and I have different sizes here which I'll explain when I'm using it to get the fire going and when you start in a fire you want to have everything ready to go when you're doing it right next to you you're not getting up reaching I'm just going to keep feeding this really closely really watching it paying attention start adding pieces of wood now that I know I'm going to have the fire burnin and I'm just doing a small controlled fire for the purposes of a video and I'm pretty confident with this right here the way this fire is going with the what I have on it what's burning I have a fire Oh at the ground is wet when you're getting a fire going you can elevate it on some green wood so the the ground moisture won't saturate the wood you're trying to burn be a little bit of a fit of a fire if you also have a wet wood that you'd like to dry off once you have the fire going you can stick pieces of wood around the heats being produced by the flame and it'll just the whatever heat the way the heats being transferred from the feet in the air to the wood dry it rotated and fire starting is definitely a style there's a style involved and as you see more people do fires you know you definitely gain a certain way you'd like to do things with the material and just the process of getting the getting the fire going and then from this point out I gradually add bigger pieces and like I said since I'm doing a really small controlled contained fire my pieces aren't really that big but next step would be gay this uh next size up of baton what I've done I'm talking more than paying attention to the fire I apologize to the fire and fire as the technology is really advanced in
