the question is whether my life my motto rule and I think integrity is good I think honestly is good in relation to teaching survival skills there's a lot of bullshit in our field and I think it's important for all of us sir to realize that when you're dealing with survival skills you're dealing with someone's life and I don't have any tolerance for the thought that the charlatan stuff that I see in my industry on TV or whatever because those of you that teach survival skills and I'm sure that a few here have taken a sacred oath to protect people to protect people in a very scary situation with many scary
favorite
we got to be up so I just thought I'd show you a quick view of our shelf that we built quite simplistic thing butter ok we were playing on a camping in the woods with the woods a terrible but no this is working quite logically get into the frontier room as well in the bad weather I ever just listened to one of color and deeds talks about hypothermia and hypothermia it's really interesting actually very good and Bill's got to meet anti snow today yeah I was time bills gonna be going freeze little we're caught we're gonna go back now I think Marissa stop buying some stuff oh yeah look building some modern modern air modern equipment modern equipment clothing his coat wasn't stacking up to the rifle hey see ya where we going now mr. toilet that's a shoe I glastonbury good morning people to me and villages to get some breakfast on the go very very smoking this a parachute to the moment but it's raining it's always or just dashed and Roy what yeah we just cook you some bacon up here on the stove smoking a shooting here sort that out though ok so the afternoons past there is absolutely beautiful air couple of hours of good weather lejon this which bill miss because he was in his own duty savoy her for a lot of course with cody but i had a good couple of hours when i spoke to a few people with cinnamon on youtube and instagram and stuff all up it's been a really good afternoon sir so the evening settling in now this one's going ahead and we're gonna head over to the heir to the big t / used to say what's going on if it is gonna be some lot of music so yeah see you later so they start the weekend everyone was all the stuff amonos to churn up the field with our cars is a lot what a message m cells that's a yes that is stuck the truck the carnival game a funny really oh I'm a fan Mardi we've been looking for him for two days you got lost I have been working yeah yeah I didn't know my DS kind of stuff so he's been out on the car so Leah billow settled in for the night you're very good night over at cut buzzer did a bit wound around Trotter I say some of the shops still food it's been a good day all toe get really cool much busier busy talk to make real a book that's been a bit of a day yes the way this he'll def court knows what I yes I'll teabags be manageable COC to our further there was a busy day Oh see it will get up to the modesto whole time actually look like activities he said to his people tomorrow so ya see you the morning goodnight so how you feel this morning do that a lot of other let's go bills be trying to get a bed for the last fall getting there slowly it's pretty grim out there man it's not the one it's not the one at all put leash of these holding it muñoz situation girls got the right idea that the shoes on my picture in your buff be chaired it's worth of living glossary yes
the other story some people okay then so it's it's Monday no I didn't do any filming on the sunday really bothered
here with Danny read from journey to push back Bill's got whole bill without spilling we done be andrews ending I've been chilly be Danny and a bit of cab buzzer as well a few bits so goodness for the last guy the weather's improves a lot
someday everyone's enjoying themselves so we're going to go to porkbelly's talk in a minute saving it just was it what's up a little survival and so i'll give a recorded without sear the day goes strap in my app your life both in terms of what I do for work but also what I do in my in my spare time in my leisure time for me and give you some ideas and I hear a lot of people say well I can't do expeditions because they're expensive I can't I can't go anywhere because I can't get access to land and other people are a little bit frustrating you know they're learning these skills but the kind of disconnected from the actual application so what I really want to do today's is kind of give a little bit of idea and a bit of inspiration about how you might go about using these things and I've seized the clicker works next bit of technology good so here's a typical scene for my typical bushcraft course is one of my colleagues there James and you'll see now I don't there's like colleague James and he's under a parachute and yeah parachute has kind of become one of the cliches of bushcraft course is everybody has to have a parachute everybody even if they're doing some sort of bushcraft camp you could have grants at our partnership it's become one of those things but it's a very static situation and the way I came to go scrap was not through a desire to be static it was through a desire to travel and through desire to make journeys and I wanted bushcraft skills and actually I looked for survival skills initially I wanted those skills to augment and act as a backup during the journeys that I was making specifically a lot of hiking journeys solar hiking trips both in in stock 'land and further afield and Pyrenees and places like that so I came to it from the perspective of I want to learn what do i do if my snow fails what do i do if i get stuck somewhere what do i do I break my compass walked away too and if I don't have enough food how can I augment one what I'm doing and that's really where I came it was in the concepts of making the journey you've removed exception of Steel you hold a slightly different rhythm we go short 45 degrees to the stone and then what I'm going to do is I'm going to gradually make little passes and this hand is going to gradually lifts up so that bezel rocks and still make contact with the whole of the stone and you can keep an eye on it looking you can see that water squirted out from underneath that level but don't try and do it all in one go just do it one section at a time and be careful when you get towards the tip because if you lift it too far you just pop through a hole through some paper okay then so that's it for the bush craft show this year and off stage for majority of the Monday and just kind of the talk by Paul curtly it was really good and just trying to find zigni so I can get my bowl because I a bowl after at the parachute so what a girl finds it but I'm sorry the video hasn't been extremely entertaining because then what you been enjoying being the show you know and there's been a lot of familiar faces here that I've recognized and a lot of people to recognize me and wish I am eternally grateful for it was very shocking and they may have people who come to me this weekend that have been saying how good my videos are and had a love watching my videos and touch me really really them didn't get that last year at all no no be recognized me last year and this year it's been surprising a lot of people have been coming up and saying oh whatever mmm so yeah it's really great so thank you everybody that him close that better came and said hello and what I am sorry that the video hasn't been that interesting but I've been having to put in time we talked she talked to people and game around and seeing the stalls and talking to different people so yeah I hope you enjoyed the video and what video there is of the bush craft show this year and thanks for watching I'll see you again very very soon Charlie gets me round and dirty trying to get to me round nerdy Oh
