hello folks and welcome to another video with that we should speed up in public failure hello folks and welcome to another video so this is a quick video and there's a few topics are just kind of wanted to bring to your attention before I go forward any further with any more videos on the channel so I've just got back from Iceland and I've got a lot of content a lot of footage which I'm about to start editing and Abed start uploading before I do that I wanted to make you aware if you think number one first announcement to have is that i've recently got my website up ruining problem it's something I've been working on for several several months probably more like a year it's putting a very long time to get there but I'm very proud of it and I've finally got it to a point in which on happy enough with it to release it to you guys to check out and the reason why we're doing this is that I want to start doing more blog type stuff I wanted to start doing more business stuff so what I'm aiming to do at the moment is try and do maybe one blog post a month just to kind of get a feel for it see how quick i am i doing it and see how good am i doing and we'll go from there well i'm aiming for one or more so this year basically i've done that so far from past two months and see ya in terms of iceland i'm going to be doing a lot of blog posts for iceland winter travel living in a camper van a lot of laptops but what I'm hoping to do and what I really want you guys to be for me is to subscribe to my email list if you're interested in that type of thing and my overall aim is to kind of move away from YouTube a little bit and I want my website to be my main hope for all the things i do so on the website you'll be able to find my images more blog posts my youtube videos so i'm going to do youtube videos but i want people to go to my website more instead of going to the channel more if that make sense
and I also feel like should just mention on the back of that that I am NOT doing this whole YouTube thing as a career this isn't me trying to look on of getting myself into career mode to Torian major money or something and this will only ever be a hobby for me and books what the website enables me to do it give me some way to write a blog post which is something I want to do I've always written things for companies in magazines and then it's just something I want I want my own work to be under my own name or my own website it's just a lot to do and and it's also I think it also makes me look a bit more professional when I do get the sponsorship deals & Company send me stuff and things of that it just makes it look a bit more a bit more cemented in look it just look a bit more professional from me from someone else's point of view it just looks cause what I really enjoyed having a website and you know as a lot of varieties of thing it's cool so that's the one thing the website so you can go over there and there will be a little pop up on the screen and it will be the email list and basically what that will do is it will email you guys when I've uploaded a blog post I'm not going to spam you with email it's literally little bit you will definitely male when a blog post goes live and all about the amount also note everyone so am I'm never going to start to pay attention more to heavy people have subscribed to the email list also kind of weary to scrub it have on the YouTube channel because that doesn't really mean much to me and see it if you do that lucky number 1 i'll be up as you conducting thank you number two which some of you may have already realized to have a patreon page now if you don't know what patreon is it's better get platform in which the audience can support a channel or a specific person or a movement and in order to fund them a little bit to help them out and i am personally a patron for a few channels and also top of my head re sponsor regular star paid halogens a musician's musician and empty queue bushcraft and those are three people or you give a little bit and one inch of every month I think it's a fantastic way of doing things I mean talk to you she paid a little bit of money patron is just a way of goes a little bit further and helping out your favorite people and you know you really really good series it's worth giving them a little bit of money so that's what is if you don't already know it's been I in the description room of videos for probably about 12 months actually and but it never really gained any any traction because i didn't really advertise it I didn't really want to be asking people for money and because that's not what I'm doing this for although YouTube does give me a little bit of money and I kind of my income from YouTube tends to come from gear from sponsorships actually that's where I gain most from youtube if I gain anything at all which is absolutely awesome i love that but i thought it would be cool but if anyone did want to give maybe at Penn the monks or 50p a month or something really small and it would actually it would actually put a snowball into a lot and there's a lot of you guys that follow me and if it's a few people gave a pair of the month I mean template a month you'll be something I mean at the end of the year I have between em I can invest back into the channel and other noble better microphone or you know two more memory cards or just little things are just help it because I absolutely love doing this and the whole reason why do this is I just enjoy sharing my adventures and I do have a life with a camera and more than anything I enjoy watching the videos back to myself at the end of the day but I just I enjoy sharing the story and it's expensive it's not easy i mean i have four cameras now and just have started this off in a little tiny and combat thing and it's not it's not a cheap game so any kind of help I can get and the little bit of money i do get museo de i just put in a pot of spending it's just between one big pot and then whenever I boating but i just bought a GoPro i was 300 pound I think a couple of years since publish to youtube thing I don't know a lot from it and that's what it goes into I don't tend to buy anything camera wise until YouTube kind of paid for it because I can't afford it any and generally so if any warm and would like to kind of help me out and little bit i'll be great if not don't worry about it no big deal I don't like people for money and so yeah that patreon page that'll be awesome if anyone would like to go over there and check that out and then third and final it and my brother over up forest of bushcraft Peter the Goblin yeah if you would like to go through channel ever do hit me and him a massive favor go and check out is ff7 competition for Sami this is a competition that he's been put a lot of effort into it's a 60-second documentary which is made a short soul and help you a bow-drill fire and basically he needed many likes on that on that video as possible so i'll put the link in the description you can pop out there even if you don't watch it just hit the thumbs up and because he's trying to get shortlisted into a competition to win the ss7 and it's a big professional camera the slow mode still think it's really cool so em either you need the couple mornings with Lloyd today to get that video great needs to be signature listed to you you can head over to the right now and like that for me I would be massively appreciative and another solid Peter hopefully I'll get shortlisted any may well be in with a chance of winning that camera and that is the final thing so those are the three things and I hope you don't mind using free sexual that time the website is the biggest deal if you could go and check that out and subscribe to my email list I'll be so appreciative of that secondly patreon page if anyone would care to just donate a little bit it would massively help me out and it would mean up and push this channel or bit further and just do some cool off a bit and thirdly deal over to phl please and give a thumbs up over on that video the ss7 competition thank you thank you thank you that is it I'm never going to sit down for the rest of the three days now I'm edit all this obviously the stuff it was absolutely fantastic trip and I've got a lot of content to get through so until next time I'm still watching I really appreciate it and I'll see you going very very soon Oh
