hello people and welcome to another video so in this video hole and do a review for you guys on these quotient trailers that have been waiting for quite some time now and these are the ridgeline ranger pants I've gotta say I'm really passionate about these trousers man that there's something I'd wanted for ages and I've been wearing them for quite a few months now but before having these that I've been wearing you know your standard army cargo pants which are great but I've been longing for some some seriously high quality trousers which are going to do which are just very generic but very good in specific specifications so I've had these for a while now and I want to run over the features to you because they're just they're very similar to like the fuel raven trousers and but often these are the ridge line version and I've got to say I'm very very pleased with them they're just they're doing everything I need them to do and more so the fabric is not a waterproof fabric however it is kind of water repellent and I have found when that when it is raining it just kind of beat the water off a little bit and but they're not they're not advertised being waterproof however I am thinking about waterproofing them in the future they don't call more to prove pick with their design for kind of Rangers or Huntsman or people that beating on the shooting line and obviously they're those people are moving around quite a lot and you don't want a trailer but something 100% waterproof or the words you're gonna get way too hot when you're moving around however whenever I'm using them I'm just chilling out in the woods doing vehicle scrath you know you know your average camping Mellark and so I always think I'll benefit quite heavily from having a waterproof coating on there so I'm gonna get a bit of fob seal give him a spray and just see how they feel they react to that but I do like the fact that they become without it so it gives you that choice so yeah that's the fabric itself but it's quite a nice quiet fabric you know there's not much of a rustle in that when you're moving around that bring the Swope next to each other it's not very noisy I see the main key feature of any outdoor trouser and if you know what you're looking for it Rosa is the waterproof knees and the waterproof backside and they come with like a neoprene stretchy material so when you do bend down it's not doesn't all get really talking difficult then these do stretching the back end of stretch close to the waterproof when they are my army cargo trousers I was forever bending there you know being bow drill or campfire or cowboy cooking or when you're outside you kneel down a lot I'm sure you guys know that and I was forever getting like dirty muddy knees and getting damp trousers and it was really frustrating so that's one of the main reasons I was longing for a high quality pair of outdoor chose us for a long time so these have these and I've been really pleased with this with the result of her there working out and belt loops I just like to add bit there's a lot of belt loops all the way around the trailers are some trousers come with only a few but they've that come with them all the way around which gives this gives the belt a lot of reinforcement so you can hand your knife and you're sore and your pouches and stuff on there really comfortably cos that you have that support from the belt does that that have support from the trousers quick key on there on the old pockets the your average hand pocket isn't is it I really like that I don't like a zipped hand pockets because I use my pocket a lot constantly putting my hands in there and if they've got zips it just I revoked my hand however they do have like a lot of storm flap to stop stuff from or to try and help stuff potentially falling out which is very useful there's something I really like is the the cargo pockets and the average Joe cargo pocket is on the soil of your leg is in it but that becomes a problem whenever you kneel down everything stabs you in the back of the knee and everything gets really tight these cargo pockets on the top of your thigh so when you kneel Darren again it's designed for hunters but when you're kneel there and you can still get to the stuff in your pocket which is really useful both pockets come with zips they're not waterproof zips but they do have they do have a storm flap over the top just to stop debris and whatever like it can't shut the water off to stop water going in there in the left-hand pocket we have a series of elasticated they're like ammunition slots they're calling like pen holders I have this one time put a pen in there while I had my small notepad in there but I don't do that very often
I did it once so that is the only thing that's called a redundant for us as outdoorsmen yeah but it's not a big deal is it however on the right hand side pocket
there is a separated pocket inside the cargo pocket which is the perfect size for an iPhone or a samsung galaxy which is very useful I'll use that to keep my phone separated from the rest of the pocket and there's also a pen holding it knows not I thought there's a penalty slot in there no it's not I'm talking rubbish anyway there's a pocket on the backhand side which is quite useful I didn't know that was gonna be there when I first got the trousers but I'm very pleased about that because I do like having a back pocket it's just that bit of extra storage space if you need it and that zipped as well you can see these traders fit me quite nicely I've got them there's a few stories on the website and I've got them to fit my specific needs and they fit me read nicely they are a straight leg trouser however another massive game changer in the trouser world for me is then they've got them like a sinking buckle strap at the bottom which is really useful because I have quite a narrow legs personae so being able to pull the shows around on top of my boot is very useful because quite often I have baggy trousers and it just looks a little bit stupid
so yeah in terms of fitting they fit very nicely and then they're not like original jackets generally original jackets come like I saw is always bigger than you expect but the trousers fit perfectly so if you are looking at buying a pair and don't worry too much about the story if you get the size that you need it should fit you nicely but yeah I'm really really lightly shows and they're really really good yeah very very very very impressed with them and then and they're definitely getting my go-to trouser from here on in they're very shocked about it so yeah go check it out you know I'm read I'd be really impressed over the time I've had them and I'll there I'll look at doing a follow-up review in a in a year or so maybe but yeah I am super impressed so far very pleased so yeah hope you enjoyed the video any questions be sure to let me know I'll get back to you as soon as I can in regards to specifications or sizes or whatever and until next time thanks for watching and I'll see you again very very soon
