hello guys welcome to survivor Asha can you see that the environment here is a little bit different because I'm a little bit of away from the homestead but more about that later so while being in the deep forest camping hanging out as you can see I wanted to a little a stop video from the from the original Oh from the main video you can say because as you might know I spent the night here at this specific spot in like minus 10 C or something and I have no sleeping bag with me I had no shelter with me but other than that I was I was we could say well prepared right I have for quite a while actually so much longer since I spent the night here in minus 10 C and so on blah blah blah I've actually been thinking about all this about no survival tools and the knife knife is the most important survival tool we have right but I must honestly say that I have began to reconsider this a little bit there anyway for an emergency or survival situation you're going to say and especially when it comes to keeping warm yeah the knife is an important tool and I'm not saying that you should not carry a knife or I have a for knives with me today one here one on my belt soon my backpack or no one in the backpack and one in my bag of food pouch but then it's different story I've been making this Iberian log right here for quite a few years and I don't need a knife to make this fire the best tool to have to make this fire it's a salt definitely the reason I'm doing it is the video here at this specific spot is that that it's a it's a testimony to to the so you can say it kept me well warm in minus 10 C all night long I slept say maybe six seven hours but our course had to wake up and slide the logs a little bit forward but the I was well rested I could go home edit the video all resting or sleeping or anything of that kind so the soul is excellent when it comes to making a fire especially this type of fire here and this is a very very fast fire to make you then there's not much preparation in making this just cut the logs find the dead log on the ground or cut a fresh tree down use that log bla bla bla this is different story but this fire will keep you warm all night long with the very very little work just to prove a point I made a fire that lasted me around 14 hours last time I was here made with this soul here and say it does not have to be a silky so just have to be a good efficient soul right just so here I cut much bigger larger than that much bigger it's of course not ideal but it can do it right so my point here is that for setting of a survival or emergency key to what you can say I think that the folding sores are really underrated or Souls in general I mean it doesn't matter if you bring a huge context always be right and again if you are in any forest like this that you can find in like I say 90% of the northern hemisphere anyway in northern United States and Scandinavia Russia Northern Europe and so on so on so forth there are no reason to split wood and Patong wood and all this stuff for making a fire I mean if you want to to split up woods and make it burn faster and so on no problem but the sweetest pointless so the point of this video is to sort of like try and break a little bit through all this knife fanaticism as you can see an exorcism over there is called in English by the way if you have problems with Russians are not Russian I live in Russia Berlin from Denmark but in my opinion a good efficient soul is one of the top items besides your emergency food cows of course it's one of the is most number two items I'm also making this video because there's a lot of I don't know why but but it's like knives knives axes exes knives knives excess excess when in reality the reality of survival so to speak is that the soul is really really really great at giving your life so guys check the links in the description I hope you liked the video please subscribe so Calum look like and all that good stuff and until next time get out and swing get it done I'll see you next time here in the springtime Russia thank you for your time guys
