The Survival Russia Channel is about "The Reality Of Survival". I live on a Homestead in far away Russian wild nature and here are no room for "TV" Survival.

Only Reality counts here. Survival Russia promotes the philosophy of always carrying equipment and never to be parted from equipment which will affect chances of Survival.

So did the old timers and pioneers of both the East and the West.

hello guys welcome to survival Russia so today I'm actually not in a very great mood because I rather wanted to be in the forest and make a video and so on but this 2 centimeter ice cover here it's not really useful for going to the forest it'll ruin any good crap boots and they also tear up my dog's legs so today it's gonna be a video about conditioning yourself to the cold and that's a lot of opinions and videos and all sorts of things going on on the internet of course about how to get used to the cold I even seen some Germans promoting that you can eat some special things and this and that and there it will make you be able to cope with the cold much better but in my experience I'll say that there's only one way to get used to the cold and that is to be in the cold as much as possible there's a number of ways that to be in the cold right right now I'm only wearing this please and a shirt and a thin thermal on those shirts you can say right 12s here I only use long johns when it's from minus 20 and low - 20 see that is you can do winter bathing and you can make the cold showers in the mornings and so on but actually doesn't really help you that much if you are in a warm house or apartment you go to your warm car you drive to your warm office a warm work or so on and then you only spend time in the cold like a few days a week or one day a week or even two days a months you never get used to it right but besides spending time in the cold being outside in the cold all day or half the day in Russia there's a another additional way to get you to the cold that is the Russian banya it was most of you would call a sauna but it's not really sauna saunas finish and sauna is very very warm like 100 degrees Celsius or something all 95 but very dry but the Russian banya is different the Russian banya is really really warm there's also around the ninety degrees Celsius and we also use water under stones on the oven as you will see in a second that creates a very very warm atmosphere to say the least and the banya has a lot of health benefits of course documented health benefits sauna also has that then you can look it up on the Internet I encourage you to always look up what I say right but the banya is really a fundamental thing in Russian culture in general but it's of course very fundamental in an environment like this out here so what we do is we go to the banya and we wash and whatever we do and it's very warm in there and then we go to the perilla to the steam room with a pocket of a very very water we sit in the annual sweater sweater sweater and then put water on the bucket or on the oven the whole room fills up with a very very warm steam when we are finished in this room we run out preferably in the snow and AH and do all sorts of things in the snow and stand out in the cold so to speak and that's really awesome and I'm gonna show you that it's gonna be a little bit fun because I'm not in the best mood because I wanted to make video on the forest but it's not gonna happen today here's the entrance there we have a table towels I got these on drink like tea coffee water cakes and so on that we have the oven I'm holding the camera very low because it's very very warm in here and here we have the bathing room up there we have a big stainless steel tank full of water it's almost boiling as you maybe can hear in here we have the steam room the per realtor now we're having the oven we pour hot water on the pouring hot water on the stones there and the whole room is gonna fill up with the hot steam basically what most women maybe for some push-ups try and stabilize the breath Vanya is extremely healthy the contrast between the steam room and the ice-cold snow is a very beneficial for the immune system actually you saying here that pan is better than the doctor that is true so guys thank you very much for your time I hope you enjoyed the video please check the links in the description and some share subscribe some lag and all this good stuff

and until next time get out and train it get it done the see you next time right here in window Russia thank you guys
