hello guys and welcome to survival Russia today we're gonna have some fun at the compound here together with the Siberian trans-siberian railroad out there

yeah we gonna make a scientific survival experiment today and that is mostly her doing we were having a conversation and because the hunting season is on that we were talking uh she was asking questions about what can you shoot with this on that and so I'm working on fitting a small shotgun survival kit into the frame here and I can have about three or four shotgun shells 12-gauge in here and there during the conversation with my daughter

she was asking if you can shoot the birds and so on with the big bullets meaning the slugs and I was saying Oh crazy then the question actually came to my mind can you shoot a bird with us with a slug and will there be anything left to eat and that's one of the things we're gonna take a look at today it's gonna be fun she has not been able to talk about anything else that shooting this chicken with the slug for two days now so today is a day first we're gonna take two test shots at 50 meters because I'm gonna try and hit the chicken from 50 meters I'm gonna have my aim around here and I would expect the slugs to impact somewhere down here we're having the small Sony down here as a target came if you should ever be in need of a good outdoors camera I highly recommend the Sony is 100 V or similar series they are awesome

much better than GoPro okay so two test shots 50 meters you

shielding slugs and so on without shooting of watermelon is actually sacrilege

so before we shoot the chicken will have a 12 kilo watermelon down here it's about 25 pounds let's see how that goes okay let's have a go at the watermelon 50 meters

that was definitely a hit I could hear all the way up here you

I got it the watermelon is actually still sitting on the hunter under three stump first shot okay single I cannot see it any chicken at all we're down in the target area what boys down there
