The Survival Russia Channel is about "The Reality Of Survival". I live on a Homestead in far away Russian wild nature and here are no room for "TV" Survival.
Only Reality counts here. Survival Russia promotes the philosophy of always carrying equipment and never to be parted from equipment which will affect chances of Survival.
So did the old timers and pioneers of both the East and the West.

hello guys welcome to survival Russia welcome to reality a survival reality of survival is a little concept I've been fiddling with and it's sort of like advice you cannot buy for money by that I mean that many of the professional advisors out there answer one they have financial interest in this is that what they show and demonstrate and tell about so on
I don't so yeah today we're going to look at the exes versus folding source from a point of view of setting up a survival kit or backup kid or scouting kits is all the same actually but before we start we have a lot of chakra over here and I always get a lot of questions about yoga and since I have an ex with me let's harvest some chowder show this piece here in an earlier video this is a quite a good chunk but we her next to it we have yet another piece over here we have yet another really good amount of Java it looks like this it's black it should be yellowish orange on the inside the reason I want to take the charger now is because it's cold it's like minus 27 today or something it's been cold for a while jakka makes a really good healthy tea with LOX lots of antioxidants and lalalalala it has to be harvested when it's cold of course because the nature doesn't give up its its secrets or what you can say easily so of course I have to pitch out positive when it's cold to be most potent so that's what we're gonna do now it is by far the best to harvest Java with an X not a problem for the tree because three is gonna die anyway that was looks like this harvesters we have the main piece big and frozen when you harvest Chaka in the cold then they're put take it home Italy for some hours no like maybe six eight hours to throw up and then process it chop it into as fine parts as you can while it's still fresh because if it hardens up and dries it's almost impossible so just a harvest a little bit more then we move on daylight is burning so in the reality of survival concept here has going to be a series of videos I want to show you in my opinion what really counts what really works without any commercial interest and in this specific video as I say it'll be cold ah but the in this specific video I want to show I want to demonstrate and tell why I think a good folding saw is the number two item after food that you should have in a survival kit I want to show and demonstrate why I think that the folding saw is much much better choice than the eggs I don't say an X always sucks but the folding saw was far superior and I want to show you how and why because now we have less than one hour to Sun Goes Down we're in a survival situation we need to build ourselves a fire because we will have almost 20 hours of night ladies pset I will not do it 20 hour nice day here this time anyway but let's take a look at the tools here we have it's a silky convoy 270 means that the blade is 270 millimeters Long's 27 centimeters then we have this ultra force outdoor X handmade and Sweden 0.8 means it weighs 800 grams the head weighs 800 grams that means that this small X there is just as heavy as a large silky katana boy right I would say that the eggs down there weighs three or four times with this Way's but let's get to it let's go and take a look because I'm gonna take down the tree with the with the saw and then we're gonna look afterwards how the eggs will do over here we have a spruce at a spruce make sure have a little taste proves there's well this is your survival tree
this is a awesome tree for survival they specifically that one because it has very thick branches it's about 25 centimeters and the base where we record it's almost the length of the container of the gumbo here as you can see I've been clearing some branches I've been looking at where the trees gonna fall is going to fall approximately in that direction so we're gonna cut it here we're not going to cut any v-notch anything we're just gonna cut it also i cameras freshly charged with battery is running low so yeah let's see how it goes about halfway through I can see blade is sticking out like this what's around 24 centimeters when we're cutting it here the last katana boy look horse do this much faster that is fine I cannot even start to think about how this would be was the X this little perch they're grabbing some of the branches but see if it's really a one well it's kind of fill hang either the supporters mostly under the branches they're not a little feel tree over there I'll fix it okay so this is how we caught it and I set the blade is 27 centimeters means that this is pretty close to just 25 I'll know how long it took me five minutes maybe or something smooth four or five six minutes maybe somebody would sing like all but this is dangerous and bla bla bla bla bla cutting it like this and ever if you want to train survival you have to get out and get it done anyway let's see how the eggs will do just on this just for demonstration purposes but because to cut 25 centimeters with an X it means that I would have to take out about this much wood which also means if I want to divide this up into logs a longer logs every time I have to divide them I lose a certain amount of wood why would only you lose like less than a millimeter with the with us alright now my position is even a little bit more favorable than if the three was a political this can take a while I mean XS have their place XS are good for many things but the four fast cutting of survival fire wood they are not really great also you know stumbling around in deep snow with a very sharp axe because this X is very sharp this might not be the best thing in the world anyway this all is safer this proves here is hanging on the on that table over there but that table is death so that's a win-win I just go over and cut it in the bottom and with the folding saw it's not a problem I'm saying you should buy silky sauce necessarily but in my opinion the other pissed but the folding sauce differently because things are having your kid I see not sweating is just snow dripping down that's the coolest thing about this setup of clothes this year's only four layers or breathable no membranes or anything I'm dry as a bone it's awesome I have all the branches laying here that I have caught previously and Arkadiy limb the tree no problem pretty safely so compared to running around here and swinging and s-x and stuff like that this is much much safer and this just as fast even faster dividing up the logs it's gonna be no problem with this little saw here so that was a fast little demonstration on the folding saw versus the X what I call myself survivalist know if you're good outdoorsman you know how to survive that's how it is the reason I want to point this out is because I'm gonna team this video up with another video on survival kits and what you can call it and of course the X can be useful but it weighs three times at least three times as much as the folding saw here and you know for scouting kiddo back up kids who's gonna put one kilo of X in the peg when you have so many other things to carry as I said you're much more likely to carry such a thing here and over the years I have learned myself how to use these and get by with them in different ways and they are awesome tools but I can exercise I mean I'm not I'm not dissing X's I'm not talking down on X's or people who use X's I mean if you want to use an excuse necks what do I care I just want to share with the people who find this information on my experience my knowledge so to speak based on yeah based on living in the real nature based on not needing to make money out of the items on presenting so guys thank you very much we're time thank you for watching the video I hope you found it informational if you like the video please check out my other videos and check also check out the links in the description and until next time get out and train and get it done I'll see you next time right here in wintertime Russia thank you for time guys the beautiful moon is coming off Sun is going down out there which is not in the West it is almost out oh it's really really awesome whatever is gonna be a cold night tonight is for sure they're not be awesome to stay out here it's just me rambling a little bit burning the last battery at the end of the video or after the videos finished actually so sit you can see it's reveling really really easy on the snow now because the two days are for the 48 hours of plus degrees were like compressing the snow that's really awesome
yeah so for the ones of you still hanging on as I said I want to make this reality of survival concept videos for because people have asked me to to to give advice and llla I don't want to be any instructor and so on but but when I see many of these videos out there I think they are not really in in step with reality you know so how I want to try and and counterbalance that a little bit I said it before but it's taken me a while to to find out actually how to do it but I think I have lined up a series of videos that should make sense anyway so thank you for hanging onto this a late part of the video see you guys
