hello everybody and welcome to survived Russia so today in this midweek video I want to show you a awesome trap is really good for survival situation emergency situation because you can make a lot of them in a very short time and you only need saplings and the bit of cordage and so on yeah let's just jump into it right away and I'll show you how it's done

we'll take the sapling over there is for demonstration purposes only because this method is not legal yet first we'll need to clear some branches of this sapling and we will use this folding kukri from her cold steel from Roberts from Tolan some people have asked me to do a review on this but I only had a short wire so I cannot review things are not really used this is the top of the sapling it was that will make a plugin we're going to use this part here now that we have the clock and the clean sapling then we just have to find out where does the plug have to be and there it's a good idea to work out of distance so it won't get this in the face of its lips take the plug like this and have it parallel to the sapling and it should be somewhere down here I can see so from the little Toggl here and from the little piece of a tweak you're going to make the trigger mechanism down here at the ground clock I will use this thin rope string cordage whatever you call it just for the most relation purpose because so we can see what's going on it's better with a little bit thinner but material to this but it'll work fine no problem so let's get down and dirty and I'll show you how it's done baby first we'll make a little knot out here

and this here we want to make as small as possible it should be fine for demonstration purposes one end through here that is gonna form the loop here around the trigger mechanism now we're gonna bring our sapling down to roughly measure something like this we of course also have to find out where on the cordage here we need to put our toggle and that should be something around here very simple basically just Megan overhand knot here and then you put in the toggle there and that's it but it's not supposed to sit like that the top I've secured like this there are many ways to do these knots okay so now we just have to set the trap here pretty easy take the toggle in under here put the trigger here that's basically it one thing you want to make sure is that the where the loop is it goes behind here and not under there otherwise it will be caught here in the fork so the second last thing we're gonna do now is to set the loop and the loop will put around here something like this and be careful with your face and so on that's the loop now we just have to set the bait and there's a little trick to this take the last part of the sapling the themes happening it's a valid tool actually this one here so there we have the stick and up here you'll put the bait no of you of course have to bait it accordingly to the animal you want to catch and know a little bit about the height of the animal so they will stand and ah what is this nice food up there that's the point put this bait up here and the enemy will stand below it and have the attention up there and go hopefully into the center so with the bait sitting and everything ready hopefully and anyone will come whoops and put the foot in and it will be caught and you can be caught pretty good so yeah I hope you liked the video I hope you will find it useful and I hope that the trap here was a fit very well into your knowledge toolbox because as I said knowledge is power but please check the links in the description like subscribe share blah blah I will always appreciate of course and until next time get out and train and get it done and see you next time here in Russia
