hello guys welcome to super Russia welcome to a perfect beautiful Russian winter day the humidity is low it's just below minus 20 C sun is shining almost no wind it's perfect day today awesome today's short video here is inspired by a viewer comment from born to prep I think it was that I should tell people about flares and flare signals and blah blah blah

I've done that before but reading the comment I realized that maybe lots of people have not seen these videos I wanna do it again and ultimately I want to show you how you make a fire correctly with a signal flare you know the ones that you shoot up into the air also I'm not working today or anything like that so why not shoot the fastest video okay guys so before we start please let me answer a very frequently asked questions lately ever since yesterday anyway and it goes like this are you gonna repaint this a while Roger vehicle I'm gonna repaint the little green monster the answer to that question is of course not Lego vomit green is among my favorite color so it's gonna stay Lego vomit green of course know the truth is of course I'm gonna repaint it I think I'm gonna start with them like a matte finish like some OD green or something like that and then let's see where it goes so the big smoke grenade here it's a little peak it's a little bulky and so on so how likely are we to carry this I've never carried it I just had it for fun I have a few of them and yeah they're just fun to sit off maybe we should do that one day XD with this one what is white smoke on white snow I don't know the signal flare here for the signal pistol the break table signal guns but then again also how how likely are you to or me for that matter to carry X amount of these pros of big heavy flare gun I know they can be bought in plastic and so on but anyways they're a little bit bulky hence we are here I have actually carried these are awesome they're not too heavy they're not too bulky in my pocket I have the fourth device and that is the device we're gonna use today yeah this is so-called pencil flare gun they're mostly used on you know recreational seagoing vehicles I don't like small boats and the small yachts and this and that but here in Russia hunters are also using the velocity there are funky little devices there are aluminum cap here and they have a good fire here as you can see the little device has a safety position here because if it's like this then the striker here or the firing pin is in contact with the primer and you don't want that and you don't want to carry this symbol actually but anyway a person I'm very likely to carry these because these weighs next to nothing and you can carry a whole lot of flares and they'll take up no space they weigh almost nothing as I said so this is a very good Sigma device it's also very good signal device to make a fire with and it works exactly like the peak flare guns and this technique here also works with the peak flare guns because a big flare guns and easier they have no rockets or anything in them let's get to I'll show you how to make a fire with these and how to make it not like the celebrities do on TV because I've seen on TV celebrity this and that standing and shooting into a fire or place where he wanted to make a fire and this was the only signal flare and I am not so sure that the camera crew did not have a few extras for this take here to catch the flare exactly in your fireplace is very unlikely what most often times happen is that they just go to the side or go straight through the first hook basic step is to open the flare of course here's just a little bit of a cardboard discs cut both discs out down here we have the flare that's hanging boom this was the surface I was pointing downwards to force the primer it's very important to use this surface here because the trick is and you put this into your fire you hold this cup here or your flare gun close to this little thing here and you fire it and it will catch on fire we have a little flower laying in here we have some little bit of birch bark close by and a lot of spruce twigs and so on pensively has a safe position we have the on point primer here just screw it in it's just what we can call it then it's important to hold this very close by and look away so guys this is how you light a fire with a flare gun or pencil flare gun for that matter because small doesn't matter technique is the same don't ask me where to buy them Google is your friend Flint is cold but yeah Google is your friend pencil flag on pin flare whatever I hope you liked this little video guys and please check the links in the description and subsea subscribe some parents of lag and all that good stuff and until next time get out and train and get it done and see you next time here in awesome wintertime Russia thank you for your time guys
