you
hello folks and welcome to a very impromptu video so today is my birthday I haven't a lot going on it's been a good day but every done much so I figured since it's so nice what I'm going to do is I'm gonna head out this evening and try and get to the top of Winter Hill which is a large Hill in Lancashire and do some photography do a bit of time lapse of stuff and I thought I'll take you guys along for the ride so it's about her puss for an alcohol to Phi this so I need to be getting up there so let's head off okay then folks that was a slightly longer drive than I had hoped for you to just general rush-hour traffic but here I am now at rivington whole bar and this is where I'm going to start my walk so I'm going to just check out the elevation and stuff a cut and what it's from that 450 meters high and i will update you on route with that one and not particularly difficult war not a particularly difficult walk is what i was trying to say they're not particularly high but it should be good practice and hopefully because you're the highest areas in highest hills in the area we should get some decent shots so let's crack on with this walk them so so far so good despite the fact that i've barely walked anywhere and so the first thing that happened was literally about two minutes into my walk some guy stopped me and started telling me about his trips around the Himalayas I have no idea why he started telling me about this but he did he just started stop that I telling me and walked for literally 25 seconds for the one that and was a family here I was quite as a country park I mean here there's a lot of people round and there's a small bro do just excluding the bushes so hopefully hopefully if it turned out okay there should be a tiny bit of film footage of that in there for you because I tried to catch it but i will try and do a lens change over to put the the long zoom telephoto lens on but i'm not quite got the hang of doing that quickly and it's like pouches or something on a secondary camera for doing that kind of thing but it's gorgeous out here i think when i stop the car put the temperature about 17 degrees i think it's actually a little cooler than that now the sun is going down I don't know whether I'm gonna make it to the top with all these stops by kicking stop this way but I'm having a really nice time and when I stop I will talk a little bit more a little while about why I decided to do this walking and what's going on with his channel so i'll try and stop and talk to you a little bit about that in a short while should i remember hopefully i remember yeah gorgeous day so TSM has begun and it's pretty killer it's quite steep and long bull-bear flats on have to say I am loving the GoPro such a good range and look quite used to it yet is due for a charge in a minute but it does give you guys a better view of what's going on and what I'm passing through hopefully the sounds okay that still might conquer this so 0 which way this way so the sound might not be quite as good but hopefully you get the idea alright folks Oh walked on a bit more not too much more but I had to stop because I just acted is check out this view our amazing desire that's incredible and put the cool tower behind me so I think I'm gonna stop Thanks bowl brush and get a drink you
so folks here we are I'd mind this incredible incredible sunset and so some of you might be thinking even be like the woods very often lately what's going on well basically well what I'm doing is I'm trying to get more out into the mountains I want to experience more and more landscapes as much as I can and there's bushcraft and more than the skills to be found in all of nature not just the woods and I kind of want to push this a little bit because let's be honest you don't get that in the woods d and part of my sort of reasoning for this trip today was to show that you can do this stuff you don't have to go to faraway places whether a huge mountains all you've got to do is find a high place near where you live and where I live is pretty flat and I just come to the highest hill it's not particularly high it's not particularly spectacular snot secluded or anything like that there are people all over the place I've been waiting to wear to film this bit there's a couple of people just down here and but I'm just gonna have to get used to talking to a camera when there's people around and it's absolutely amazing up here so I've just taken the opportunity I've been up here a few hours I could have done this after I finish work I wasn't in work today but I could easily have done this after finishing work and it's the idea of the micro adventure which is something I've talked about before it's an Alistair Humphries thing if you haven't looked up Alice of Humphreys check out his book check out his YouTube I will try and remember to link all this stuff once I've uploaded it however I do usually forget these things and someone using reminds me in the comments so if you're looking for it it's not there just drop me a comment and I will make sure I get it up but don't worry I will be still in the woods a lot and just kind of making the most of this weather that's out of the minute got the moon directly behind me and the Sun directly in front of me that's really cool love this camera the light adjustment on it is like phenomenal I can do so much more it's pretty much darkness here but it looks like daylight how cool is that but it is heavy and so yeah look to see what you guys are up to as well it's very difficult to walk downstairs and look at a camera and talk at the same time ah there you go so yeah I'd love to be seeing what you guys are up to and I mentioned in my peak district video if that is what at the same time as this which I'm hoping it will be I'm probably gonna do this one tonight feat District one is quite long so I'm not sure when I'm going to get that done and but there's a guy called deanery watch his videos they're really good and a guy called Thomas he teaches photography and these little micro adventures I really like them it's so much fun and being up in the mountains is great keeping you fit totally different set of skills so we're going to be looking at that a lot on this channel as well but that's somebody else put it I will not be forgetting my woody roots we will still be seeing a lot of wood crafts and stuff out in the woods because that is where I feel most comfortable but being up in the mountains is incredible you just don't get these views I am sort of rambling a little bit now I did have like a whole thing that I was going to say that I was like running through my head in the car and stuff but I can't remember it and but yeah this was my mic revenge of the day I hope you've enjoyed it just a short video and please like share subscribe comment all that kind of stuff and we will see you in the next one bye for now
