Processing Horses Hoof Fungi (Fomes Fomentarus) into Amadou
Description
In this Video I process some horses hoof fungi into Amadou for fire lighting. The first attempt didn't work due to leaving the piece to thick & not 'fluffing' the fibers up enough, but with some perseverance and a little help from additional research success was reached in the form of a very hot slow burning ember!
