Journeys | Short walk around Anglezarke

Description

Ok not the best video in the world, a few camera issues (caused by the wind) and a few problems with editing... you'll spot them I'm sure!

Still - it was good fun being out!

hello everyone and welcome to another video today is gonna be a bit of an interesting one the weather has taken a real turn for the worse today there's severe weather warnings out for wind and rain which isn't really ideal for filming a lot of the how-to videos and the kit review videos simply because at the moment I am without my lapel microphone so the wind on the external on the internal mic on the camera it just makes loads of wind noise so decided to do something a little bit different for today so what I've decided to do is come out a collapsible place that's not far from where i live about 40 minute drive and i am going to film i'm gonna take along for the walk basically but my primary goal for today is to play around with some new filming techniques that I've been kind of researching and reading up on and so yeah I'm gonna be playing around with that a little bit today so today's video might suck it might be all right the reason I'm doing I've chosen today to do it is because it's really bleak and grey and horrible outside I'll just take you and show you and there's no color out at all it's grim it's windy and it is not pleasant I'm just sat in the car park of the minute so I'm gonna get geared up and I'm gonna go fill up with a war not gonna be a long one I'm just kind of playing around a bit today so let's see what we can get up to right stuff on a car packed and on my way and perfectly just on time of course started to rain now have absolutely no idea where I'm going I don't actually have a map of this area so i'm just using my my GPS on my phone which should be interesting it's not a huge a huge area it's actually pretty well populated but I'm hoping I'm going to pretty much have the place to myself today because it's miserable and people talk about a special smiling Queen outlets patrol you

so here's something I actually remember from coming to visit in high school which is this monument here to the memory of Flight Sergeant Jamie Templeton sergeant er Barnes sergeant J be hatin sergeant IRS Jackson sergeant geemarie sergeant and mansi killed when a Wellington bomber crashed on these Moors on mob ember the 20 2012 November 12 1943 erected by the road check or Forex june nineteen fifty-five so we go bit of history max it stop and try and get some cool shot to this I'll be interesting wouldn't it let's see we can do that been to the ceiling as well car go wrong quick tip remember to actually charge your cameras before setting out to film but luckily got the ravpower thingamabob with me charging the old goal brother shouldn't take too long okay sometimes move on this long squat play around with the cameras a little bit one issue that I'm having today is that the lightweight tripod isn't brilliant high winds I've had the GoPro cell do a time lapse fallen over quite a few times so you probably see now well hope so I'm gonna head on down this little trail here and I think there's a waterfall somewhere near vice let's go have a look around place a pretty cool actually and I'll not don't go to this video's tell the new location like a second primary objective today was to mess around with a camera

pull em up knock one is to get dollars booster hoped the spring interesting landscape regency currently it was obviously a daughter of the history of I can't remember but you can see the impact that sort of people have had on it what nature's kind of reclaiming the way is really cool really nice place to look like it and actually walk around so the main aim of this video is basically just to kind of take you guys on walk I had wanted to do a couple of how to use today bought as i said the wind as you can probably hear it's just it's just no use without a proper microphone so i hope so far you've enjoyed it I don't know how far I've got nice to go ok folks Oh back in the car now at a nice sort of five kilometer walk kind of micro hike nice to be out I know it's not with the most interesting video in the world but i'm just playing around with different things to get some feedback some I different camera techniques and stuff although I'm not sure how many of them actually i'm going to using this one had quite a lot of difficulties with filming because my tripod is an ultra lightweight mine front i like pot a little at lightweight tripod which is fantastic however i have discovered that in the wind because it's top-heavy it does like to fall over but i think i've got a solution for that glow sticks and tent pegs on the bottom of it so that when i'm using it i can just pick it out I don't want to smash my camera but anyway as always thank you for watching I hope you've enjoyed the video I know not much has gone on but hopefully the weather will be a bit nicer next time I've got some time to come out and film and I'll be able to do some more engaging stuff for you thanks for watching guys see in the next video
