Oh

hi guys what we looking at today it's just a really beautiful little wild edible that we found this absolutely littering the place we're filming and I wanted to just very quickly show you a little bit about it's one of my favorite wild edibles and what it is it's wood sold it's like a name is exitos axcelis asset osler I think I'll put them out put the name I'm not showing the pronunciation about but I'll put it in the video for you and what it looks like it's this plant there's a little tiny white flower just on the inside ok ok so these white flowers make it really use to identify they've got these little red lines on the inside of them but it's not actually the flower eat it's the leaves of the flowery and they look like this if I find a nice one for you they're like this they look like little clover flowers you've got a really distinctive heart shaped leaf on them ok it favors kind of shaded damp areas in woodlands and it's the name wood sorrel not sure whether it is actually related to common sorrel but the taste is kind of similar i actually prefer this one it's not quite as intense when you eat it it tastes just like tastes like green apple peels to me it's a really really nice little wild edible one thing that's really nice to do with this is it goes obviously there's a lot of it around but in terms of getting a good meal out of it probably not going to happen what this does is it goes really nicely nicely with other things it's got a really sharp tangy sweet taste to it and if you know what you're looking for you realize it's absolutely everywhere particularly on damp ground so that mod sorrel just look out for the little white flowers and it's if you can just have a bit of a look around it's absolutely everyone is fly everywhere you see these little white flowers that is all would solve and this is just one Patrick in this area it's absolutely absolutely everywhere so keep an eye out for that this is common what's on thanks for watching

you
