hello folks and welcome to another video in this video I'm going to be over viewing this which is the croppers compressed light jacket and what this jacket is a down-filled orite weight jacket I absolutely love it I originally bought it for the purposes of simply going up into the mountains and carrying with me as a piece of lightweight gear well the more i come to use it the more actually comes with me pretty much everywhere now the reason for that is it packs down to a very very tiny pack size in its stuff sack which is supplied with it it's very very lightweight it's very very warm and it weighs a tiny 440 grams absolutely fantastic jackets not as robust as the things that normally take down to the woods but absolutely ideal particularly in the evenings if you've got an hour to show you can were so it's not going to get snagged on things as will ripped it's a lightweight jacket it's you know it's not designed for smashing through brambles and stuff if you're doing that you are going to tear it well if you've got something over the top of it like one of the craghoppers jackets for example it's going to be absolutely ideal for you my favorite way to use this in the morning but half now before I wake up I take out the stuff sack shove it into my sleeping bag warm the down up inside it when I get out of my sleeping bag I'm able to put it on and have some warm clothing to better regulate my temperature particularly on those cold winter mornings few feet to this that i really like i like the toggles on the zips there is to get hold of it even if you've got gloves on we've got these wide plastic things the finger can fit right through it's got a plastic zipper which normally i would avoid because they're not usually strong what this one is absolutely fantastic and really being plastic it weighs much less it's got large security pockets which has a brushed cotton lining in them so nice and comfortably not got gloves on there's it down to open and they zip up to close which means if you don't fully zip it you still not the only use the stuff out of pocket that really important the cuffs and the hood I'll elasticated which means I say sit really snuggly to you and there's a cinch belt thing at the bottom which has a little plastic toggle on it and you can just pull it tight around the waist there yeah I thoroughly love this jacket i paid about I think the retail for this is around 60 pounds and it is absolutely worth every single penny it compares easily to some of the more higher-end product which costs double even triple the cost of this jacket so yeah really great for the money lightweight easy to carry very very comfortable and genuinely so warm it's a windproof water resistant jacket when you put this on i mean i've used this in some horrendously cold windy weather when you put this thing on you end up with this deader space inside it blocks out all the wind and its really great footing and we're getting that buffering in the wind on your ears from the wind all day it just takes that away from you you stay lovely and warm I camped out this january i think it was it was a genuine februari up on the top of scathfell pike the temperature at nighttime dropped down to minus 4 degrees before we went to bed and I was sat in this and a t-shirt and nothing else I was absolutely cozy in it it's a wonderful wonderful piece of equipment it doesn't get too sweaty only downside of it is it's a little bit too warm to walk in so yeah I found it to be too warm to walk in space you've got a big bag on so you do need some that you're just a fleece or something to go to go alongside it but craghoppers do some fantastic lightweight places as well overall absolutely wonderful bit of kit I absolutely love it i highly recommend it so if you're going to be up in the mountains are you gonna be out in the cold go out and get yourself a compressed light jacket bike rack offers thank you for watching you
