hello it is mid-april here in Wisconsin and Mirabel and I are out in the woods today were on what looks like a fairly nondescript piece of earth however when we start looking closer we'll see all around us here and on the ground you're about to remember what this is down ground being and as you're walking through the forest and you start to notice this and you know what you're looking for you will start to see it everywhere it's time rolling up over all sorts of things once you see that you know there's something tasty waiting for you down in the earth but okay so what we're looking at is the dried winter stocks right now in the fall after their growing season they produce these aerial beans which we can harvest in the fall but right now if you know how to recognize though the winter stocks or the tendrils there is a bean underground here I've located a spot where I think it might be a good place to dig if I pull away some of the leaves here we'll see what we've got under here I chose this spot because I don't really see any of the aerial beans that are produced in the autumn time and so I feel like this is going to have more of a grounding rich area one technique find your stocks and then kind of feel where some of them will still be in the ground they're kind of delicate so a lot of them break off but these guys we're still here and then we just try right under here to see here's one right here already

okay there's one of those little guys right there

I want a nice decent size cute low-beam home anjali here here's a little collection here of various different sizes we've got this one right here starting to sprout and if you well this one's peeling off of its outer skin nice and shiny little bean

I've got kind of a little Oh brownish reddish tinge to them some of them have a really beautiful exterior skins you can see these at least are having their little skins peel off quite nicely to reveal a beautiful little beam that one split open underneath everybody you want to try a bite you can tell us what you think I'm making alright so for some not for others take him up rinse them at home separate them out from the rocks that you might have gotten these skins come off as you can see here pretty easily these can be eaten raw but I find them especially tasty when you take them home and cook them up I'm just like a regular bean although they're fresh beans so you're not gonna have to cook them as long I could also dry it out so I'm using don't put them in a big pile and they'll be like regular beans dry beans well it might take a while to harvest them they are filled with protein and they are an abundant source if they're in your area they are a ground cover they're everywhere

you

how low it is mid-april here in Wisconsin and Mirabal and I okay I just had to little bit of that hello it is mid April here in Wisconsin and Mirabella and I are right hanging out whatever it takes you I'm sorry my brains just not working right now okay I can't do it give me just a sec yeah I've located a spot where I think it might be good to dig if I pull away from you you
