Calling Upon Flint Knappers and Rockhounds -- Asking for Help Identifying Mystery Stone Flakes

Description

I'm asking for help in identifying some ancient stone flakes that I believe are left over from working into points. If you know what these are, I'd be very thankful to know! Found in Wisconsin, but they are not of a local stone.

and putting this call out to all Flint nappers and rock hounds I have some mystery stones here that i believe were worked by native people and on the organic farm here there's a certain place where every time the soil is tilt up come these stones and they're not native stone I am very familiar with the native shirts and things that would be capable of being worked this is something that does not come from this area historically the old hudson road goes through here so it was a trading route and it there's a fair amount of evidence that not only were there European settlers on this land but that prior to that there are native people living on this land and I'm thinking this is a you know a place where where things were being worked I have not found a an arrowhead spearhead any other piece that is you know I feel a 100-percent has been worked but a lot of what looks like these flakes and maybe they were traded and and brought up from down south or somewhere in Canada I don't know I'd like you to take a look and anybody knows what these are please let me know i'd love to figure this out so the real creamy texture just polished smooth there's a lot of these orange to yellow ones we also find a fair amount of this red there you can kind of see the the matrix of its in and it seems like it's the same stone here's a piece that has both colors in it I'm going to bring them up a little bit closer and boy any leads would be great thanks everybody out there I have tried you know I haven't found real big pieces have tried working in a little bit and it does seem to flake pressure flake very nicely thanks again in advance for any leads
