Hi, my name is Lilly and I like spending time in nature to practice my survival and bushcraft skills. This is a holistic survival channel which means that besides wilderness survival I also do modern survival videos. Sometimes I use modern tools which people might have at hand in a real survival situation. Also all of my videos are pre-recorded, which mean that they do not get released immediately after I film then. That is why seasons in the video can differ from actual seasons. okay guys so today's video is going to be an announcement I have a second channel now which is called survival lily restricted now why do I have a new channel now first of all I want to say that I never wanted to make a second channel because I always wanted to focus on one channel but now I'm moving all of my restricted content which is age restricted content and demonetized content from a main channel to my second channel which is called survival Lily restricted you can find a link in the description below if you want to subscribe to my second channel so why am I doing this I don't know if you heard about the ad pocalypse YouTube had to react they had to restrict the content that's what they had to do to survive so they have their Community Guidelines and if a video doesn't apply to that they will either do monetize it or they will each restrict the video so you can't watch the video if you're under 18 now this restriction also hit a couple of videos on my channel as well all of the hunting videos shooting videos and also some of the knife reviews and some of the archery videos which I find completely I believe it's an overreaction to restrict these videos because I don't show any violent content there or something I just show a knife and just showing a knife I believe applies to the Community Guidelines but the algorithm sometimes things different and so a couple of my videos got restricted to now that's pretty bad actually because it's not only that under 18 year olds can't watch this video anymore but also you will get much less advertisement for a video that gets

that and also the algorithm is not pushing your video anymore so you will also get much less views so they punish you twice for it right or three times so pretty bad also now I have reason to believe that this content hurts the entire performance of my channel and so I have made the hard decision to remove all of these videos from my main channel and I have uploaded this videos to my second channel this was a necessary step I didn't want to but I had to okay so this is how it's now and now in future I will still make videos on my main channel but if some of these videos get restricted I will move it to my restricted channel that's what I have to do to keep my first channel the main channel clean yeah so I'm not entirely happy about the situation but there's nothing I can do about it and I have to play along the rules of YouTube that's how it is now and yeah we youtubers we get last money now for creating videos so if you want to support your favorite youtuber you can do so by for example I am on patreon now so you can support me here on patreon and also you can support me by buying some survivability t-shirts which you can find in my Spreadshirt shop now for the future I have decided that I want to expand my business I don't know if you heard it but I'm designing a survival knife right now and that's going to be available in my knife shop in about three months maybe so that's there's going to be another thing and yeah I'm also writing a survival book right now but this will still take a couple of months so writing a book takes time and this will be also available probably available in my online shop so that's how you can support me and also now I want to thank you for your support that you are still subscribed to my channel and that you want to watch my videos and also I want to say that some subscribers have complained about getting unsubscribed by YouTube so they haven't clicked on the unsubscribe button but they are unsubscribe now and also sometimes my videos don't show up in the subscription feed I don't know if that's true
